Powerful Dehumidifier
This is a powerful dehumidifier for areas/levels of around 2-3k sq/ft. I bought two of these units and they work extremely well. You can buy the filters, or just do what I did and cut your own filters from MERV filter rolls. The WiFi connectivity works well, but their APP is a little wonky at times.The reason I wanted a WiFi dehumidifier is so that I can monitor it from anywhere, and for my upstairs unit, I like to run it when I’m work for a few hours. So I manually control it when I want to.My basement unit runs at 60% set point, which keeps it perfect down there and keeps the rest of the house at an optimal humidity most of the year.These units have significantly saved me money on A/C usage, which saves me money. I don’t mind heat, I just hate heat and humidity. Dry and hot air is what I like during the summer months.I did have an issue with one of the units out of the box. The condensate pump was DOA (float sensor wasn’t manufactured correctly). However AlorAir customer service was beyond excellent and shipped me out a new condensate pump. These units also prove to very user friendly to take apart and maintain which is another important feature. I like to clean my HVAC equipment to keep allergens down to a minimum.Very well built units and a satisfied customer.

TERRIBLE BUILD QUALITY – buyer beware!!
I ordered this dehumidifier because of decent reviews and the WiFi to monitor it while I am away from home for vacation. The machine is clearly large and heavy and it took a lot of effort to get it upstairs to the area I wanted to use it in. After plugging it in. There were several issues. First the WiFi instructions given are out of date. In fact, the name and interface of the app has changed but the print out instructions are for an older app. Once you find the newer app, the instructions within the app aren’t accurate as well. Fortunately I was able to figure it out from my own understanding of Bluetooth and WiFi connectivities form experiences with other devices but it was not easy.Once I turned on the machine. It realized the display panel was saying the humidity being blown out was the same as the intake. I called customer service who clearly sounded like they were a foreign call center reading off a script, and they said that can be normal and it is dehumidifying. While I’m on the phone trying to explain that makes no sense, the machine automatically shuts off at 30 min with an E5 error code. Apparently that’s the highest error code which is a refrigerant link, problem with the heating coil, or some mainboard problem. So they tell me to either open up a work order with them or to return it. Well since I’m leaving on vacation, I need one right away so I decided to return it and order another one right away. Since this machine is big and heavy it took me and one other person to take it downstairs and put it back in the box and tape up and secure the box enough for UPS to accept it for pick up.In the meantime I received another brand new machine by Amazon prime… and this time I was smart enough to just plug it in without moving it upstairs. And guess what after another 30 minutes, another E5 error.So two new machines each dead on arrival. That’s about $3,000 of dead machines in massive boxes sitting on my porch waiting for UPS to pick them up. I have never spent so much money on faulty purchases in my life. Learn from my lesson and do not consider this machine or brand.

Well made, good performance/value
Arrived well packed, attach the handle and it’s ready to work. Easy to use touchscreen display. The DH moves a good amount of air and is plenty strong to attach lay flat tubing if you need to duct dry air into tight spaces. I have been very pleased with the look and build quality of the alorair equipment I have(I also have some of their fans and another model of DH that have all been very dependable). The connectivity features are very nice for monitoring conditions remotely as well, all around this is a lot of machine for the money.

What a UNIT!!
Newer brand to the mitigation market, but don’t let the lower price and the fact that it’s sold on Amazon fool you. Having 13 years in the mitigation business and having used all of the top name brands, this unit and brand 100% holds its on in the market! Easy to operate and move in and out of job sites. We will be adding several more to our fleet!!
