Never doubt a product untill you try
At first I put 4×4 in hole was loose. No way was going send back. Let try one . My post only 3.5 high for railings upper rear deck. I used 4 inch torx deck screws to into 2×6 framing. Used 2 inch torx deck screws (8 ) side mount snugged. Up tight. Post not moving. I like these. Pretty awesome. Did for all together railing post. Awesome. Mural of story. I was negative on product until I tried it. Now Iam positive. Very góod price. Building a deck for your home. But these post base.

It performs well
This product worked great for making a bench on the front porch. Once locked down it provided great support for the cost. It functioned properly and secured the bench post to the porch. It was made properly and the quality surprised me. The cost was much less than the alternatives. It certainly has value for the money.I would buy again.

They might work for you
They look pretty good and work okay. But these things are about 1/4 inch too big for a dimensional 4 x 4 so the brackets get bent inward when you tighten down the screws. They might work okay for use with a vinyl post sleeve. The mounting screws and anchors provided seem too light duty for something intended to anchor a post so I didn’t use them.

Way nicer than expected!
Post bases are way nicer than I was expecting. We have to rebuild our patio-snow damage- and we wanted something that was going to hold up for a long time. There are 8 screw holes into the post, and 4 into the base. They included screws, which was nice-but I’ve learned to hate phillips screws in this project. Torque head screws are the way to go, imo. They also include a very small screwdriver, but it’s not really usable for our project. Overall, we are very pleased with these, and if needed, would purchase them again.

These brackets are well made, the shape they have allows you to level up your posts on every angles, they are sturdy and looks great, the screws that comes with it are cheap though and the colour of the screws are not matching the colour of the bracket.
