Completely Muffles
Excellent product. I used it unconventionally, however. I live in a dorm with people underneath me, so I slipped a few of these pads under my rugs to dampen the noise of my cat jumping off my bed. Works perfectly and totally muffles sound.

Smaller than I thought.
Smaller than I thought, have to get two packs to get the length and width I needed . but still good material

Perfect with drum rugs!
Exactly what I needed! I put 2 drum rugs on top and swapped my Spikes out for Velcro and K Brakes on my kick for added protection. Works perfect, doesn’t move.

Exceptional Sound Absorption and Quality
These sound absorbing mats are a fantastic solution for anyone looking to enhance sound quality in their space, whether it’s for a music studio, practice area, or even a home theater. The 20-piece set provides ample coverage, and the dimensions of each mat (11.8″ x 11.8″) allow for a customizable layout that fits my needs perfectly. The soundproofing capabilities of these mats are impressive. I immediately noticed a reduction in noise and vibrations when placed under my piano and drum set. They effectively absorb sound, making it easier to practice without disturbing others in the house. The non-slip feature is also a significant plus; the mats stay securely in place, even during intense playing sessions, providing a stable surface that gives me confidence while performing.Another great aspect of these mats is their durability. Made from high-quality materials, they feel sturdy and well-constructed, which gives me confidence that they will last for a long time. The aesthetic appeal is also noteworthy; the sleek design and color options blend seamlessly with my decor, making them a stylish addition to my space. They are easy to clean, too, which is a bonus when dealing with instruments and foot traffic.Overall, these floor mats have exceeded my expectations with their sound absorption while providing a reliable and attractive solution for my musical environment. If you’re in need of effective soundproofing and want to elevate your practice space, I highly recommend these mats!

Not bad
The mats are easy to asssemble and can be flexibly spliced to suit different spaces. The quality is not bad, but I wish it was thicker. I bought some thick mats and put them on these to get a better offset effect for the drumset.

Really digging this
I’ve accumulated several drum mats over the years. But after trying this out, I’ll use this in my upstairs music room. I got the 44 x 55 and that’s actually big enough for a 2 up 2 down setup ( I don’t use a double bass drum setup). Didn’t have any issues with sliding bass drum or hi-hat. I can’t say how sound proof it is since I have sound absorbing material on the walls. However in my opinion its definitely going to help keep the sound down vs using regular drum rugs. Overall I like it, was ez to put together. 5 Stars. Thanks Amazon

Easy to put together and looks great
The individual pieces were easy to put together, all in all assembly only took a few minutes. It comes with some stickers to hold the pieces in place that go on the underside of the overall assemlby (see picture). Once put together, it works great, although a larger drumkit might spill off of it. The non-slip feature is great and my wife agrees that the noise reduction makes a difference when she’s downstairs.

Cost effective solution for recording studio
We have a makeshift recording studio in our (unfinished) basement and I wanted to lay something on the concrete floor to cut down on echo/sound reflection to improve the quality of the sound/video recording we do there. It’s not as ideal as a full carpet with sound-deadening padding, but it does make a difference and is far less expensive. My only concern was whether the individual locking tiles (that fit together like jigsaw puzzle pieces) would lay flat or if they would pull apart with use, causing a tripping hazard. So far, so good is all I can say. We’ve used them for a couple of weeks, and it’s lying pretty flat. I will update this review if I find that they start to pucker or become uneven with time – but my first impressions are positive.
