These bags are fine for household trash but they tear fairly easily when used for yard waste from tree trimmings or things with any sharp edges. I was looking for big sturdy bags for yard waste because we have to trim Palm trees and bushes multiple times a year and I thought these would work, but they’re really not thick enough for that. Again, they’re fine for household trash or for storing things in bags (like clothes, etc).

Have you ever grabbed the can and thought “WHO FILLED IT THIS “FLIPPING” FULL?!?!” Yeah and I didn’t say flipping either, but if you love your family and don’t want to look like a crazy old man cussing out your garbage, please read on.If you are looking for that tougher, thicker plastic that is necessary with a bag this size. I have used these for over 4 months now and I am happy to finally have found a strong bag that works. I wish they sold a “buy more and save” box of 500 or 1,000, I would want one.This bag fits my larger shop/garage trash can with a 20”x20” opening. We have been using these for household trash as well as shop waste and heavier items. My girls will over stuff this bag with a lot of heavy items and I am able to lift it without it splitting or ripping open.I wrap a bungee cord around the top of the can to hold the bag in place. With it secure they can continue to cram it full. I don’t think you can fill it with broken glass or drag it on the ground. Treat yourself to this strong of a bag and save some time with one less frustration.I have adding this to my subscriptions.
