Works Great!
Huge difference between this fan and the original that was in the house. I don’t know if the original was from twenty years ago when the house was built or if it was replaced anytime before we bought the house ten years ago but it was loud. This is super quiet and much more efficient. My wife already told me to order two more to replace the two in the master bath. Yay. LOL! Actually super easy to install and cheap enough to do it. This is not one with a replaceable motor so you do have to take out the existing “box” but it’s not that hard of a job. I tried one from the local big box store that I could just swap out the motor but it was louder than this one and didn’t fit quite right. I did that because I did not want to replace the entire housing but I bit the bullet and did it. Again, not that hard and start to finish was only about a half hour. Wish I would have done it sooner!

Five Stars – Absolutely Unbelievable Power and Silence!
I am utterly blown away by the Tech Drive Super-Quiet fan! The name doesn’t lie – I honestly can’t believe how incredibly quiet it is while operating. It’s almost silent, a complete game-changer compared to the roaring jet engine my old fan sounded like. But the real magic? The POWER! My daughter is notorious for taking epic, hour-long showers that usually leave our bathroom looking like a tropical rainforest, dripping with condensation and thick with steam. Yesterday, after one of her marathon sessions, I walked into the bathroom fully expecting the usual sauna conditions.I was met with… NOTHING. Not a single ounce of steam lingered in the air. The mirrors were crystal clear. The walls were completely dry. It was as if she hadn’t even showered! This fan is an absolute beast at extracting moisture and air.If you’re looking for a bathroom fan that is both unbelievably quiet and incredibly powerful, look no further. The Tech Drive Super-Quiet is a true marvel. It has completely solved our humidity issues and does so without making a peep. I am beyond impressed and wholeheartedly recommend this fan to anyone who wants a truly effective and silent ventilation solution.

Buy it!
Excellent fan. So quiet I was worried it wasn’t going to do a good enough job, but it is so much better than my previous fan. My mirror doesn’t get foggy at all.Installation-wise, it is set up very well and makes for an easy process, even without attic access, which was my case.I had to drill new holes into the metal frame in order to secure it to the beams in my ceiling. Other than that, very easy and straightforward.

Great solution…
I had to replace a bathroom fan and this one fits perfectly in its place. I had a wire clamp that I bolted to the housing (though would have been happier if one was included), so I safely secured the power to this new fan (so the sheet metal doesn’t cut the supply wire). At 2 sones, the fan is much quieter than my old one but not as quiet as my own master bathroom with a 0.5 sone fan. Still, for a third the price in a guest bathroom, I’m more than happy with this one. There is plenty of airflow and it is doing the job perfectly.

Sensor does not work
First, It was very hard to install since does not have same dimensions of standard fans.Second, our intention on buying a fan with the sensor was exactly to avoid turning on and off, which has not been achieved with this product. It starts automatically when showing the green light even tough there is no steam/humidity in the bathroom. Also, it never stops unless turned off manually.Third – We just finished renovations and of course the 30 days window for return has passed.DO NOT RECOMMEND

Great price decent fan.Doing a reno and I’m quite happy with it so far. The internals are tight for installation. The vent outlet on the unit has a flap which is great for separation, however it is a potential point of futur failure (might last forever). Very happy with sound level and price.

Great product, the fan itself is quiet. The housing though, has parts that aren’t secure and rattle when it’s in use. You need to secure the enclosure that the wiring goes into, to make it quiet
