    Super Quiet. Well made. Satisfied.
Arrived on time, as expected. Super quiet.I install blower fans a lot and know what to expect. But this was my first with .3sone ~ virtually silent. This further tells me about their engineering choices, and the prospective durability.I had a question about output, contacted CS. Wow! Exceedingly helpful, beyond expectation. Thank you Amanda! Old style customer service.I’ll look to Kaze first when I purchase each time. Nice selection of output/ sound / cost options. And I’m grateful to be treated with respect when I found a hitch with my install.

Ultra quiet, lives up to the advertizement.
These fans are great, very, very quiet. I have installed 3 in my home. The noise level is low, low, but you can still hear it. The noise level is much lower than the fans I removed. With the shower running, you can barely hear the fan start and that is only if you really concentrate and listen very carefully. I. did learn one thing with the installation. The exhaust duct has an effect on the noise level. If one tries to use smaller duct it will increase the noise level. Use the largest possible. I used 6 inch duct and had excellent results.

    Excellent vent fan
I bought this to replace an old, noisy, and inefficient fan in the bathroom. I couldn’t be happier. Our handyman installed it quickly and found it simple. It is incredibly quiet — we can barely hear it — and very powerful. There was not a hint of condensation on the mirror following my morning shower. Quite a contrast to our old one.

    Works Great
This bath fan completely eliminated the moisture problem I had in the bathroom. I have a moderately sized bathroom (6×10) and it would completely fog up whenever taking a shower. This caused mold spots on the ceiling and probably had a lot to do with the particle board vanity deteriorating. So I replaced the cheap builder grade and ridiculously loud Broan fan with this Kaze 120 EZ fan. The noise level was reduced about 90 percent. It is designed so you can install without going into the attic. This is true as long as you have a 4 or 6 inch exhaust line. If your line is too small ( mine was 3 inch) you’ll have to replace your exhaust line in the attic. I replaced it because 3 inch is too small anyway. If you’re not an experienced handy person with tools, I would recommend hiring someone to install it for you. If you decide to install it yourself, study the instructions carefully and you can do it. I did it and saved a lot of money. Also, the Kaze support people are very helpful and will respond quickly if you have any questions or problems. I used them and was very impressed with the quick response. If you have condensation problems in the bathroom, this fan will solve them.

Can’t use vent hose less than 6 inches
Install this Fan to replace a older Fasco unit. I selected this unit since it had the same ceiling cut out as the old unit. Unit was very easy to install. Without vent hose attached unit was very quiet. Once I tried to attach a 6 inch hose with a reducer to 4 inch fan started making noise and hitting the housing. I believe the back pressure in thecvent line causes the plastic fan blade to distort and hit the side of the plastic housing. Only was able to connect 3 foot 6 inch hose to the fan. The fan is and now exhausting the moisture into the attic not the ideal solution since I couldn’t reduce it down to the 4 inch vent I had in the roof. Might have to use rigid vent ducting to prevent back pressure. Just ran out of time trying to get the rental unit ready for the next tenant.

    Disappointing
I would give 5 stars for the quality of the fan itself. Unfortunately the stars go downhill from there. My contractor, who by the way has installed a couple of hundred bathroom exhaust fans both residential and commercial, picked this fan for me. One very important factor was that the new fan be very quiet which a fan rated at 0.5 sones should be. This fan is louder than what 0.5 sones should be and certainly not “ultra quiet” or “barely audible sound level” as it claims (even after installing new 6” insulated ductwork as recommended). Another factor was a fan with an easy install for a retrofit situation. Not so much with this product. To top that off the install instructions that accompany the fan are misleading, confusing and in some cases wrong. This particular issue caused the fan to take twice as long to install which cost me twice as much. So if you want a good quality product, that is louder than it should be and will take twice as long to install, this fan is for you.

Works great for sucking the steam out of the bathroom.
Hot showers, no problem.. no more steamy mirrors and walls. It looks good and appears to be built well, its loud but not that loud for what it can do.Installing was easy the only tricky part was the 6 inch hose as i ran it to the soffit and not up and out of the roof.
