Poor Usability
Puts items at a convient height but is not well made. Wiggles back and forth when operating. The hinges tend to catch on the rack and jam it. Snaps closed hard if not loaded with correct weight and can catch fingers.

Don’t buy
I cannot stress how bad the spring mechanism is. If it doesn’t get installed perfectly even, the metal hinge will catch on the side of the shelf. Even when it is installed evenly, the action is horrible, it will pull to one side or the other, it’s unpleasant and fiddly to get it down.If you do buy it and need to return it, beware, you must keep all the original packaging, and the return options are limited, you cannot just drop off at a Whole Foods or an Amazon locker due to the size. I found out the hard way, don’t be me.It’s a bummer because I can’t find anything similar and I live in a studio that has zero kitchen drawers. I really wanted to like it.
