Thick Material: Compared to other sun shade sails on the market, our virgin HDPE fabric undergoes 20000 hours of laboratory testing and it is proven to be 80% more durable than low purity HDPE under sun exposure. The fabric surface has undergone special treatment, making it more durable in both sunlight and rain
Sun-blocking & Breathable: Blocks up to 95% of harmful direct sunlight, protecting your skin, furniture, and plants. The permeable material allows breezes and a small amount of light to pass through, creating a more ventilated and cooled space; Not waterproof
Reinforced & Curved Edges: All edges are double-stitched for enhanced tear and abrasion resistance. Each corner features a D-ring for easy hanging. The slightly curved design helps prevent sagging in the middle when taut.
Outdoor Shading: Widely used on patios, lawns, gardens, swimming pools, decks, vegetable gardens, backyards, porches, carports, pergolas, driveways, or other outdoor areas. We also offer straight-edged sunshades. Our US factory offers custom sizes. Please let us know if you have any questions
Note: A space of 1.5-2 feet should be left between the D-ring and the mounting point for installing hardware. The fabric is stretchy; the titles shown are for when stretched taut. Make sure the sunshade sail is fully taut during installation, otherwise the size will be too small. Alternatively, choose a larger size

Great product!
Installed 2, 10×17 shade sails and really love them. High quality, nice material, well constructed. Came with some nice white rope but didn’t end up using that. They stretched out nice and so far have done really well in strong winds. The color is perfect for our patio and home which is what we were hoping for. They don’t stop rain but do provide some protection until it starts raining hard. Great shade, early 15 degrees lower on my patio with these.Highly recommend using heavy porch swing spring on each corner to provide some flexibility in the wind.

Well made and good value
Well made and sturdy. The corners have heavy duty stainless steel rings that won’t rust or break. The material is a heavy weave, reduces heat and UV rays to make your patio space more comfortable. This product should last several years and us abgoid value.

Works great, easy install, and durable
I’ve only had this shade sail for a few weeks but so far I’ve been very happy with it. If that changes I’ll update this review, but I’m optimistic it will last at least a few years. I’m very happy with the gray color and the size was right for my space. I’m not confident it’s exactly the size advertised, but it’s within a few inches which was good enough for me.It feels durable and was easy to install. I originally purchased another brand, but it was the wrong size and they didn’t carry the size I needed, so I returned it and purchased this brand. Both brands seemed like equal quality so they’re probably all fairly similar. It really does make a big difference on the temperature on our patio and does a great job providing shade. Highly recommend.I installed it by hooking two of the corners with their attached rings to hooks anchored in the side of my house, and then tied off the other two corners with the rope that was included with this sail. If you find yourself needing to install the same way I did I’ll share this in case it helps. I couldn’t find the right size hooks at any local stores, but had a locally owned hardware store sell me the right size bolt eyelets and then they used their saw to cut them to turn them into hooks for me. I love the customer service at locally owned stores in times like this.I was able to cut the included rope in half and melt the ends to prevent fraying. The two pieces were long enough to tie off two corners like I needed. The rope is definitely not long enough to tie off all four corners though – I think two corners is the max. It isn’t the highest quality rope either and I expect I will need to replace it eventually, but I’m happy it was included and it works for now.I know I didn’t install this with the traditional hardware set up, but I didn’t have enough space to use the normal recommended hardware, and to get a sale 1 foot smaller made it an uncommon size and cost twice the price. Using just hooks and the rope takes up the least amount of space which allowed it to work for me, so if hopefully that helps you too if you’re struggling with having enough space.Over the past few weeks, it has been rained on several times and when wet it sags down, and when it dries it goes back to being taut. I might take it down in the winter when it snows, but it seems strong enough to handle wind and rain very well. For less than $50 including hardware, this is an amazing solution for shading our back patio and I highly recommend it.

nice looking, stretches a lot
I received this just 2 weeks ago, so I cannot comment on durability or water resistance. For the approximate $40 I paid, I am very pleased with the quality. The material itself is a multi-color brown, fine mesh. It looks much nicer than my feared “brown tarp” on the front of my house! lol. I had 4″ square tubing posts set to accommodate this shade sail, and at first, I thought it was too small. However, once I installed it (I used turnbuckles) it stretched out and I re-tightened it numerous times. The eyehooks I had mounted to attach the sail are 11.6x 16.6 apart, I ordered a 10’x15′ sail. I now have it tightened up to allow approx. 8″ per end. It was a real process of trial and error to attach it, and allow for the stretching, as it mainly stretches diagonally. I am in an area of high winds (the desert of southern New Mexico) and though I’ve taken it down because the metal turnbuckle I used bangs on the poles, the sail itself seems to do fine in high winds. It’s such a good value, and is such a nice, inviting look, providing a great degree of shade, that I ordered an additional custom size at more than double the price. It’s great that you have the option of taking it down in the winter, or any inclement weather. It came with only a little nylon rope, but you probably should get the hardware that suits your own situation and home. I looked at a few that included hardware, and I probably wouldn’t have used that anyway. Overall, a great option for shade without having to install a permanent fixture.

Good quality awning
Actually, a lovely awning, well-made, good quality comes with white nylon cord to tie the corners. our deck is 10 x 12 and so I bought a 10 x 12 awning however, I found that I should’ve got one smaller so that it can be tied taught, I ended up buying a 8 x 10, could’ve even gotten a 9 x 11. Addendum: after having the new 8 x 10 awning up, I’ve noticed that it has stretched. It was very taught, but after about a week, the nylon chords and awning have stretched so that it’s sagging, easy fix as I was able to tighten the cords and get it taught again but good to be aware that it stretches at least 3 inches on all sides after a short period of time so that you can measure the correct size.

Solid Sun Shade
Great quality for a solid price. Love the 2 tone look which worked perfectly with my patio cabana. Be sure to do your research for proper installation/mounting and using a hyperbolic paraboloid sail configuration for optimal use.

Product is Great, company that sells it is horrible
Product is great, it seems pretty durable and has held together surprising well through a few summer monsoon storms that come through Arizona. But I has a size issue with one of the multiple shades that I purchased from this seller so I returned that one for a smaller one. A month later and I am still fighting to get a refund for that shade. Amazon is no help even with tracking information proving that the seller received it.

Perfecto

Metal rings start showing rust spots within a month. However, the tarp itself looks okay

This item arrived quickly and was super easy to install. It is exactly as described and made of tough, durable weather proof fabric. We were impressed by the quality and sewing of the corners and seams. It actually protects you from a light rain and casts a shadow in the hot sun. Highly recommended.

This PATIO brand sun shade sail works GREAT! I’ve read a couple of negative reviews on this and other websites from people who clearly don’t understand how sun sails are supposed to work, or how to hang them properly. Take the time to do your research, plan carefully, purchase sturdy hardware and you won’t be disappointed. This PATIO brand sail is well made and provides excellent shade and airflow to keep us cool. Two people in our family have very fair, sensitive skin. Sitting outside in the summer used to require slathering on SPF 50+. Our entire family can now sit outside all day long without an ounce of sunscreen. Highly recommend this product!

Works great, good quality, have had for over a month. Definitely stretches and shrinks with heavier winds/rain. Been playing around with different hard ware from Home Depot as hooks used to fasten down have bent from stronger winds, so upgraded to thicker gauge. Hope to get at least a couple summers out of the shade and I would be happy at this price point. And then would just buy again if necessary but be a bonus if it lasts longer. So far so good with no signs of wear. Plan to develop a way to roll up/fasten when able to before strong winds and long periods of rain. Just no need to then have out. Does block the rain a little, but wouldn’t count on staying dry underneath for more than a few minutes.
