I want to rave about these knee pads!I’m no knee pad expert, not being a professional who works on his knees a whole lot like a plumber or flooring installer, but I’ve done quite a bit of knee work in my time, using at least four different models of knee pad, and this is the only one that has been acceptable. More than acceptable, these are exceptional.The problems with other knee pads:Number 1: They don’t stay up. They are continually slipping down my leg are require constant repositioning to keep them actually atop the knee.Number 2: Not enough padding. Without a hard shell and sufficient padding, rocks and hard surfaces can be felt through the knee pad.Number 3: Too much padding: With a hard shell, or an ill-designed shell, and too much padding, using the knee pad resembles kneeling on a ball that my knee constantly wants to roll off of.Number 4: Weak straps and velcro: Without beefy straps and beefy velcro, the straps don’t hold up and retain their holding power over time.Without going into too much detail, suffice it to say these knee pads are designed to overcome all of these issues. With strong straps and velcro above and below the knee, and a rubber-like grip strip inside, these babies stay in place. They have a hard shell, but it has a flat surface and is not over-padded, so there is no rolling-off the pad.I swear to your favorite diety that I actually welcome dropping to my knees when wearing these knee pads, because it is more comfortable than standing. It’s like they say, “no cry.”When I first got these knee pads, I thought the red finger loops were probably just a showy gimmick, but they are actually useful when attaching and detaching the knee pads, or giving them a tug if needed.Looking a the photo, you will see that my pair has taken a beating, but they work as well today as the day I got them.I kid you not, friend; the difference between wearing these knee pads and my earlier models is the difference between joy and sorrow.

No more tears from cheap knee pads
Had a $15 pair of knee pads that were bringing tears after 5 months using them every week – it’s been a few weeks now of nearly every day use with No-Cry knee pads and these are a way better class of quality and durability than my other knee pads. The Velcro straps above the knee keep them from slipping but you don’t have cut off the circulation to do so. The hand pull straps are a nice touch and the knee pads have been super comfortable no matter the kneeling position unlike the other pair where you had to get it just right to not make your eyes tear up. No binding or bunching of the lower strap like the other pair either. The packaging was top shelf and I am so happy with the quality and value that I came back just to leave a good review as appreciation for a quality product. Would highly recommend.

What a difference these (dare I say it?) luxurious knee pads/guards make when performing any tasks requiring kneeling! Thick, comfortable padding, tough outer shells, and heavy duty construction make these easily donned and adjusted (via sturdy Velcro straps), incredibly functional pads an absolute dream. I’m kicking myself for my stupidity and all the pain and hassle I’ve endured over the years utilizing inadequate, ill-fitting and hot pullover full wraparound padded knee sleeves; I wish I’d found these years ago. I used them today to set up a 10’ Christmas tree, and now feel ready to finally tackle installing a replacement bathroom ventilation fan unit in the attic; I can’t wait to put them to use in the garden next spring. Don’t hesitate to purchase these—you won’t be disappointed in their utility, quality, or value.
