Functional & Beautiful
Great lighting system for staircases.The number of wires that need connecting is somewhat daunting at first and the instructions aren’t quite as thorough as one would hope but the system appears to work as intended. I’d purchase it again.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
Now that I’ve had these for a few months, I thought I’d give my honest opinion. These lights are absolutely fantastic!! I live in a 3 story townhome and the hallway has always been a bit dark. Not anymore. As far as installation goes, my husband did the install and said it was pretty straight forward. The company did a great job making sure to give you everything you need and enough product to make it all work. They did not cheap out. I love that the lights have made the stairs more safe but they also have a look of modern sophistication and elegance. The lights have multiple settings for brightness and for the way they can illuminate. They can cascade or come on all at once. I absolutely recommend these! Do not think about it anymore, purchase them! You will not regret it!! **One side note I will add is I did buy the led strip light mounting kit for a more finished look.

Didn’t Work
Couldn’t get these to work. There are two modes: light-sensor mode and always on. The light-sensor would activate the controller but the lights wouldn’t turn on. In always on mode, the lights turn off as soon as the timer is reached (so not helpful). Sent a message to seller on Amazon but no response so will be returning.

I thought it was defective at the beginning but then realize it was the two wires at the end touching each other.It works great as a basic stair lighting kit (simple on/off with no pattern). Wish it could be longer since most stairs are 36″ or 48″ but this is only 20″ long. And I wish there is ability to drill a smaller hole and just fish the wire though.

Does what it says it does….
Product does not need batteries. It functions as advertised. Installation was challenging for an over the surface lighting system. The length of the light strips seemed longer on the add. The brightness is adjustable and sufficient for its intended purpose. The light strips have been attached to rough wooden surfaces and appear to be holding. Over all quality is acceptable. Will not return due to the fact that it’s already installed.The length between each light strip are not consistent and are too short.The control box connectors for input and output power had to be respliced, due to poor assembly at manufacturing. They were not solid connections and caused intermittent operation. After replicing the connectors, product controller worked fine. If you attempt to do the repair yourself, just be sure to wire the leads the same way you took them apart.Overall, satisfied with the product but not the aesthetic quality of it. Need to find a way to conceal the excess wiring.
