Very well made, high quality, easy installation, and attractive post lights
These are very attractive whether it is day or night. The soft glow is just enough for safety reasons to light up the banister but not a harsh light. I installed these during the winter and even without a lot of sunny days they charge up and stay charged way into the night.. They have been designed to be super easy to install and they will certainly stay put even if someone happens to grab onto them. Not only do they function as desired, charge up and keep their charge on low sunny days, but they quality of the make is great. Hope that helps.

Good quality post toppers
Bought these for the top posts of an outdoor shower and they really lit up the area. I love that they are solar and have different shades of light. They come in a cool white and a warm white and they feel like good quality plastic. We took them in for the winter to ensure they last more than one season, but I feel these are great post toppers for the money.

I would of picked a different one if I had a do over.
The caps are bigger than my deck posts. They say 4×4 but there is a big gap all around the sides. The lights are very bright, like sharp bright on the white setting. They do appear to hold up well in rain, snow, ice, and below temps. It gives just enough brightness to see the steps. For us, I was telling my husband these will do for now until we can upgrade. I just wish it was bright enough to see more of the deck at night. We live in the middle of nowhere so it is dark at night. These are ok but there is so much room for improvement. As for installation, it was fine because we just screwed in 2 sides because of the big gap. It does not light up like it shows in the picture, it shows each bulb not a ring of light. I am disappointed overall.

These solar post lights are very thoughtful lighting options to have in the backyard. I put them on the posts around my backyard deck and garden, and they have made the area noticeably brighter without being harsh. The trapezoidal shade does a good job of spreading light evenly, which is helpful for both aesthetic appeal and visibility at night. I like that there are three colour modes and two brightness levels, switching between cosy warm light for evenings and a brighter white light when needed is straightforward. Installation was very simple, and I appreciated that no wiring was required; the included hardware worked perfectly for my posts. The lights also appear to be well-built, with a solid ABS construction that feels sturdy enough to withstand varying weather conditions.The lights rely heavily on direct sunlight, so in shaded areas or during cloudy periods, the illumination is noticeably dimmer. The automatic on/off feature works most of the time, but occasionally I’ve noticed a delay in turning on at dusk. While the product feels sturdy, I remain cautious about its durability over several seasons in extreme weather conditions.
