Is there a inch error in the measurements?
The DT20 have ±1/16 inch accuracy. (Notice: Please check the datums before measuring, hold “UNIT” to switch between PRE or POST datum, the actual result of the POST datum measurement will be 3 inches more than the PRE)
How to use the real-time digital display function?
Please hold switch on for 1 second to switch the laser/digital tape measure mode, when the “tape measure symbol” flashes in the upper right corner, it will be switched successfully, and then you can pull the tape measure to use this function.
Can data storage be applied to all modes?
Yes, all modes support storage of 20 groups of data.

Excellent tape measure. Easy to read display. Rechargable
This tape measure is so much easier to use then the manual type. The display is large enough to read and can be adjusted for feet & inches or metric measurements. It displays distance measurements as you measure, allowing you to stop precisely where you need to. No more squatting down to see your measurement. It can also be locked at a specific distance. It is very precise and is accurate to 1/16 inch.

Accurate enough for most uses. Awkward interface, I have barely learned the basic functions and doubt I’ll need most of the others. Tape arrest lock slips.

Pros – Received this tape measure today. I have to give it a 10 out of 10 for ease of use. Right out the box, I would able to figure out how to use it, with no problem (though I did watch the online video). However, I do recommend reading the instructions to understand how to change some settings. Instructions are well laid out and easy to understand. The screen is easy to read for measuring length and with 2 clicks I was able to determine the room area. Also the screen reading is matched to the tape measure for accurate readings. Had to read instructions to determine how to read from back/front of tape measure, but it is easy.Cons – If I were to give it any con, I would say that I miss the crosshair settings that I have seen in other units. And when you switch reference settings to back of unit, it switches back to front when you retract the tape. Would like to have the option for locking settings. Not a major problem because the settings are saved and you can push the unit button to change the reading from front to back or vice versa. Lastly, it would have been nice to have auto lock (tape measure would stay out until you push the retract button). However, you can kind of do this by depressing the lock button about halfway, before you pull the measuring tape out.Summary – The unit feels solid and came fully charged read to use. Can’t say more about the unit yet, but I will post more after I have more time to use, but for now I am very impressed.

It is intuitive to use and works well. I accidently dropped it from a height of 5 ft onto a hard concrete floor but it still worked fine. It is also pretty accurate and precise. 5 stars overall

I absolutely love using this combo, laser and tape measure. For most jobs, I have had to carry 2 devices with me to get the job done.This unit comes with some neat feature such as a built-in trigonometric/geometric /volumetric/ area calculator. If you need to do some calculations of area for floor coverings or walls, this tool can do it.Pros:Very solid and robust buildEnglish or Metric read-outCan measure/ provide area, volume, height, volume callsSteel tape that rolls out easily and that offers a stop functionMeasurements can be read via the tape or via the digital display .The unit stores up to 20 measurements. So, if you need to mitre saw a piece, you can refer to the unit to get the precise measurement. No need to note it or use your memory.Rechargeable battery with USB-C connector. Battery will last more than a day of heavy duty measuring.CONS:The laser does not offer settings such as including the tape length or not including the tape length in its measureIf you need to bend the tape for an inside window measure or to do a certain type of floor measure , the digital tape measure will not accurately record the measure and you will need to refer the actual tape measure.Sunlight will affect how well the display appears. Wish there were brightness settings.Overall, I love this combo. For me, it eliminates the need for 2 devices and I love how it can record history of measures. For the price, it is in a competitive price range especially with its feature set

J’utilise l’outil à tout les jours au travail sans ménagement. Le ruban lui même va malheureusement finir par être abîmé (à cause de mon utilisation et non la qualité du produit) et il serait une bonne idée de le vendre séparément.Le laser fonctionne parfaitement et ce même en plein soleil. On doit y aller à l’aveugle par-rapport à l’endroit éloigné car le point laser est invisible mais la lecture est quand même excellente. Du milieu d’une route à un trottoir c’est super efficace. Je dirais que les commandes sont peu intuitives mais à force de l’utiliser ont s’y retrouve.
