A nice cheap replacement over name brand
They worked perfect. A lot cheaper then buying them from lowes or home depot. Worth the money. Easy to install. The screw heads did strip out on some, but for the amount and price you can’t go wrong

Weak Screw Heads
As others have said, the screws are not that strong. I had several heads strip off, a huge inconvenience, especially when trying to reset another clip in its place. Next time I’d get some that had stronger screws, given that you sometimes need to exert a decent amount of force to tack down less that perfect boards.

Excellent quality and value
I used a total of 1250 of these hidden fasteners on a 800 sq/ft deck this summer.I used Trex deck boards and these fasteners worked just as well as the Trex brand and at nearly half the price.The screws are not torx (star) drive but they are robinson (square) drive.I think I actually prefer the robinson drive on these smaller stainless steel screws – I didn’t strip a single one!And yes, the screws are indeed stainless steel (tested with a magnet) and the head of the screw is painted black so they are as discreet and don’t catch your eye at all.

I highly recommend this product for installing ipe slotted decking. Very easy to use but be careful about over torquing the screws, the plastic will break and the screws can strip out or break.

In my opinion, better screw head, less chances to strip and spacer is solid (less dirt and water will accumulate.) let’s not forget the price, about $.15 vs $.41 per clip.
