Works as it should. It is easier to use than I expected from other reviews. Is sturdy and strong. It also came with replacement wear items. I used it to install laminate flooring, it worked lots better then using a hammer and block. The hammer and block seems to be more destructive to new flooring, this jack is firm but gentle to the product I was installing. Overall I am happy with this jack.

Great for hardwood installation. Make sure you brace something against the wall, this will punch through the drywall if you are not careful. Exerts a lot of force.

I had the screw type, but although it is strong, it is slow and kind of a pain to use. This version is very quick to set and release. The welds on the tool are good and the mechanism seem strong.So far so good!
