Make sure you get the ideal length
Perfect for my man sized hands. I purchased the 30 inch version. The size and weight is perfect when you need to quickly use leverage to pry something open or quickly bash an object. The classic curvature if perfect. Great tool if your vehicle tire becomes stuck on a patch of ice, you can use either end to bust up the ice. It is one solid piece of metal, feels virtually indestructible. I read a number of reviews and one of the main complaints were the size, a number of folk seemed to get a size too small.

Now this is a crowbar!
This is a nice hefty crowbar, just like the one your grandfather had. It’s indestructible! It’s about 3 foot long more or less, and when you lever down with this bar, things move! I purchased this one because I knew anything from Estwing would be a brute. I have three different kinds of Estwing hammers, they’ve all lasted for over 30 years. I’m glad I didn’t get the heavier one. Anything bigger than this is just overkill. Can be used in residential projects, but will do commercial work just as well! If you’re gonna buy a crowbar, get this one. Interesting fact: The newer tools that have this paint on them (my first framing hammer did not) will be rust resistant. You absolutely cannot go wrong here!

We got this to open wooden crates, and it’s built like a beast! It’s very heavy-duty, strong, and easy to use. Can possibly do demolition work with no problem, and will last a long time.Functionality:Not very heavy and stows out of the way easily.

This lives in my truck in case of need. I know, I know, but if there is a crisis, I will have one I can depend on within reach. It is solid and well made. I used a blow dryer to heat up the sticker adhesive and get the label off, finishing up with some WD40 to remove remaining residue. Is it weird to really like a crow bar? Well, i really like this crow bar.
