Big brush, means big time saver. I can load a lot of stain, and get good even coverage. This is great for bigger jobs, but definitely will use more stain.

I stain our 12’ x 16’ raised deck every year to keep it looking great and protected from the elements. This 3-pack of Crozzfog brushes (4”, 5”, and 6”) is exactly what I needed. Sturdy, Thick Set of Brushes!
This set of three different sized brushes are decent quality brushes themselves.Came in a bag, without the handles & metal footing hooks separate.Trying to screw the handles in I did have to get a screwdriver (as shown in photo) to form a sort of lever to attach them. They were a bit difficult to screw in and my reasoning for removing one star-the difficulty in getting them together.I couldn’t turn them by hand alone. This may have just been a bad batch. I also have very bad RA (rheumatoid arthritis) so that may be the cause for difficulty as well.Once assembled they are extremely sturdy. Metal footings are thick, durable-not flimsy allow these to rest your brush on the edge of a paint can, tray, etc.Bristles are EXTREMELY thick, didn’t notice any falling out.I am redoing my deck so I wanted these for staining purposes. They hold the stain extremely well. Can pretty much get one full pass with the large 6″ brush.Overall, I would recommend these to anyone.Each brush is marked with size, riveted together & should last a very long time.Versatile for so many projects. I am looking forward to using the smaller ones on my wood rounds. I feel these will be much more efficient, leave less brush streaks behind as well due to the quality & thickness of them.Easy to clean. I did use a professional paint/stain cleaning remover & then regular soap & water.Dried perfectly nice-almost like brand new-lay flat to dry.For the price of $15.99 (at time of posting this 06/08/25) for a set of three high quality brushes that’s a steal of a deal & worth every penny.

Great brushes, well made
I picked up this oversized brush for a table refinishing project, and it was exactly what I needed. The other brushes I tried just didn’t hold enough stain, which made the process slow and frustrating. This brush, though technically designed for decks, worked perfectly for my project. It held a generous amount of stain and made applying it fast and easy. I was able to finish staining the entire table in no time, with smooth and even coverage. Highly recommend this for anyone working on larger surfaces, not just decks!

Great value for three nice brushes
I got this set of brushes as I was rebuilding my deck with the intention to use them for applying an oil-based deck stain. When they arrived, I put them aside while weather, visitors, and other events got in the way of me completing the project. Finally, the day came when the deck was dry enough to finish. I opened the package of Crozzfog brushes for the first time and was impressed with the quality — so much so that I considered using some older paintbrushes I had lying around instead. I felt like these brushes were too nice to waste on deck stain. But then I saw the screw-in handles and realized if I could fit some long handles to the brushes, the project would require a lot less kneeling down and standing back up again. Thankfully, the long handles did work and most of the staining could be done while standing up. The regular handles that came with the brushes were necessary for more exacting work, like staining the edge of the deck against the house. Be aware that the included handles can be difficult to screw in. Once you get one into the hole a bit, you may need to use a pair of pliers to grip and twist the handle all the way in.

Luxuriantly bristled large paint brushes
The luxuriant bristles on these large (4″, 5″ and 6″ width) paint brushes immediately impress. The soft flexible synthetic bristles are well anchored in a 3″ long and 1″ thick bristle grouping; these bristles will hold and spread a lot of paint with each dip. The brushes require assembly: a 6″ long threaded wooden handle with metal footing [or a (not included) extension pole] screws into each brush head; the metal footing allows hanging the brush on a paint bucket edge. The stainless steel ferrule clamping the bristles to each brush head is well-attached; given proper cleaning after painting these brushes should provide long service life.The package contains three brushes (4″ wide, 5″ wide and 6″ wide), three metal footings, and three 6″ long wooden threaded handles. The handles are round with a taper for hand comfort during painting. Each brush must be assembled before use; a metal footing slides over each handle’s threads and each wooden handle screws into a brush head standard threaded hole (that also will accept a standard threaded extension pole). The handles I received attached firmly to all three threaded brush heads but the thread fit was not perfect: two out of three handles would not completely screw into the threaded brush heads. This thread misfit was annoying but did not hinder painting function (shrug).

Only reason for two star and not one is it actually does a good job however it falls apart to easily when using cause the bristle to be part of your new stain project. Highly disappointed if I didn’t use it I would send it back right away and find something better for my money.

Bought these to stain panels and also ended up using them for chalk paint. Works GREAT! Saved a lot of time with the size. Paint and stain went on very smooth. Wish I found these sooner.

I used these brushes on some rough sawn board and batten siding and found them to be exceptional, especially with how few bristles were shed on such a rough surface. The build quality is very basic, but durable and reusable. Coverage is better than many brushes on the market, with thicker bristle pads that I can load with more paint than thinned brushes. This set is priced competitively, offering good value, and excellent performance and coverage.

These deck stain brushes are okay. They are much less thick than other deck stain brushes I purchased in the past but they still hold a decent amount of stain/paint and don’t lose more hairs than other, slightly more expensive brushes. The product photos show that the brushes are 2″ thick; they are not. To be fair, right under the inch measurement, there is the one in millimeters and that one is closer to reality, although still incorrect. The brushes are 27mm thick so about 1.5mm more than 1″. I removed 1 star for the inaccurate product description and also because although they are okay for the price, you can get two better brushes in brick and mortar store for the same price. So, the choice is between quantity and quality. These are okay though so if you need multiple brushes you should still get them.
