Works for hard to reach corners!
It works for the touch snaps and hard to reach areas. I put in an entire floor and when I needed this to work it did. Just be careful these can break tongue and groove when not used properly.Leverage the flat bar on the edge of the flooring not the tongue groove and use your soft mallet to tap the short part of the flat bar and increase pressure of mallet when needed slowly. Corners slightly lift the cornered floor piece at a 20° angle with the flat bar and tap into grooveDoesn’t really slip unless you do too much force at once.

Ok so I did about 1000 square foot of laminated flooring and this worked just fine. It was starting to bend but I could probably do another couple hundred before I need to bend it back. It won’t work for business. But for home install it was just right

Necessary tool when installing LVP floors
During the process of ripping all the carpets out of my house to replace with LVP (luxury vinyl plank) floors, I quickly realized that when you got close to the walls the tapping block and mallet were no longer an option. I looked at my local home improvement store but they wanted over $30 for this pull bar. I hopped online and quickly found this item and it arrived fast as usual with Prime.I have used it to install around 1400sqft of flooring and had no issues. There are a couple of felt pads on the bottom to prevent scratching when you lay it on the board. I found that I needed to use a normal hammer to get enough force because the rubber mallet would chip when I hit the pull bar as hard as required. Of course using a metal hammer may cause some of the black paint to flake off but it’s a tool and I don’t expect it to look brand new after banging on it . The bar has not bent or failed in any way. I would recommend this to anyone doing DIY flooring.

Not as durable as I’d hoped for…
Connections on my laminate flooring were very tight. The most difficult installation I’d done out of 1/2 dozen. Bent the tangs on my first (original puller used for the previous projects) about 1/2way through the project. Bought this one hoping that it would get me through the current project and my next ones without issue. It wasn’t long after starting to use this that the tang started to bend. Given that, I think my first one (not this brand) was the better tool. This tool’s scratch preventative pad was installed too far toward the center of the tool to adequately protect the flooring. I had to install my own felt pads closer to the end of the tool to keep my flooring from getting damaged. Thankfully I noticed that before it became a more prevalent issue after the tang started bending.
