Powerful for Big Basement
I couldn’t be happier with the Abestorm LGR85 Commercial Dehumidifier. This machine is a powerhouse—efficient, and built like a tank. Within just several hours of running, it pulled an incredible amount of moisture out of my basement and made the space feel dry and comfortable again. The built-in pump with long drain hose makes set-up simple, and I don’t have to worry about emptying buckets.The LED control panel is user-friendly, and the unit remembers my settings so I can just set it and forget it. the reinforced handles and durable casing make it feel like it will last for years. On top of that, the 5-year limited warranty provides extra confidence.

Not smart. Quite the opposite, in fact.
This was such a disappointing purchase. The smart wi-fi capabilities do not work. Their app is non-functional. I reached out to Abestorm support who confirmed that not only does their app does not work, they have no timetable for when a new app will be available. Bad news for anyone who paid extra for the “smart” model. On top of all of this, I cannot even get support to follow up with me and provide a ticket number.Technically, the dehumidifier works but seems no better than a big box model at half the price. My recommendation is to look elsewhere.

I bought the Abestorm 180 Pints Commercial Dehumidifier with Pump for the garage in one of my rental properties in humid Tennessee. I’m 84, and I’ve seen a lot of damp spaces turn into moldy messes. I wanted something reliable to keep the garage dry and safe for tenants. This unit does the job better than I expected.It really seems to pull a lot of water out of thwe air. My tenant has been using it a few weeks now. It’s rated for up to 180 pints a day, which they really need in this area. Compared to other dehumidifiers I’ve tried, this one moves air fast and gets the moisture out quicker. The coverage is impressive—it handles the large garage with ease. Now we don’t have to worry about damp corners or musty smells.The built-in pump is great. No more messing with buckets, which tenants won’t do anyway. The pump pushes water up to 14 feet high, so I ran the drain hose up and out thru a small hole in the wall. The hose ws long enough to give me options on where to send the water. Competitor models I’ve used before don’t usually have reliable pumps.The controls are easy to use and understand even for guy like me who doesn’t read the directions. It cycles on and off automatically to keep the humidity right where I wnt it. It also starts back up on its own if the power goes out, which is nice for a rental property. No need to ever think about it– set it and forget it.It’s well-made and sturdy but doesn’t take up much space. The compact design made it easy to install in the garage. The filter is designed to be easy to replace.Overall, this dehumidifier is great for landloards. Reliable, easy to set up, and gets the job done.
