Works better than spraying stain
This brush works so well that I will never spray my deck stain again. It helped me evenly and quickly stain my deck with out being on my hands and knees or with a back ache. The bristles are great and spread smoothly and evenly. It really made the job quick and easy, with an equally easy clean up.

Staining the deck is a pain, a good, long brush makes it easier. This is a very good one, perfect for that particular task. The handle extends to about as long as you’d want it, so you have good range with your brush stroke, but can still control the brush head well, and it’s not too awkward handling it. It stays sturdy while extended, it doesn’t flex or become loose. The fact that it can be collapsed for storage is great, this is the sort of tool you want to be able stick out of the way in the garage, you’re only going to use it once a year tops.The bristles seem tailor-made for staining, they’re stiffer than regular brushes, which is good, because you want to work the stain into the wood grain. But they’re soft enough to hold and release the stain well, without leaving ridges. The brush head size is perfect, too–large enough to give you a fairly broad stroke, saving time, but narrow enough to allow getting in and between rails and other deck features. It seems well-made enough to expect that it will last several years. The bonus hand brush is good, too.
