Made the job much easier!
This deck stain brush made the heavy chore of re-staining my deck a little bit easier. The brush was stiff enough to be able to apply pressure without the bristles collapsing. It does take a bit of practice to press down with just the right amount of pressure to not leave streaks in the finish. I was able to get it correct after a few minutes. The connection of the handle to the brush head could be more durable, but it worked well for the time I used it. If you apply too much pressure and possibly break the handle, that also means you left streaks in the finish. A light hand worked best for me. I am also over 6ft tall and the pole was an adequate length to use comfortably. Good value for the price. I would buy these again to save my old knees and back!

Great for staining porch, deck, fence
I got this long handled stain brush to help stain our fence and back porch. The handle is plenty long enough and you can shorten it by not using all the extensions, to get any length that works best for you. It’s very easy to assemble. The bristles are durable and not falling out. They also hold their shape for good stain application. The brush is not very wide, but that could be a positive depending on your project. It easily fits into a paint/stain pan. The included small brush has worked well for our fence. The longer brush is a little more difficult to maneuver for a fence, but I think it would be great for a deck. I think it will be helpful for staining the exterior portion of our screened in porch, because of the long reach. Good price for the set!
