I didn’t purchase this for a shower. I bought it to fill a 12” by 24” opening in inside wall of an outbuilding.Item arrived in perfect condition. No dents or dings. Seems very solid. Fits the opening. Easy fix.

Loud when tapped or placing items inside
Just used it for the first time and it’s tinny sounding in my setup. I recommend wrapping with insulation, spray foam, duct tape, or something similar to dampen the sound when used. Looks great and one piece so can’t leak. It may scratch easily, but still looking good.

Looks Amazing – Well Built
We are going to redo our second bathroom and got this to add to that location. This is such a pretty recessed shelf that we had to get it. First thing you notice is that this is GORGEOUS and then next thing is that it’s very solid feeling. The front facia is a very sturdy full 1/8″. The construction and heat discoloration indicate a very consistent process. No random rainbows in the middle of a piece of steel. Everything is even and consistent which indicates a well made shelf.It’s a beautiful black stainless steel shelf that will look stunning in our remodel.

This is a great idea, much more convenient than all the work that goes into tiling an alcove. This will also hold up much better over the long run. This thing is made from quality thick stainless and is very sturdy. It was easy to install and looks great!

Color not true black
Color was not true black. It looked more like medium gray or bronze color. Very disappointing when trying to match to all black hardware in the bathroom.

Very good quality, solid welds, thick metal.The shelves have built in slope so just leave a hole in the tile, some silicone around the lip and drop it in – DONE!
