Waterproofing membrane
I got this for my shower project, and no I haven’t installed it yet. I wanted to take pictures of the Kerdi band to compare. I was reading the specs for both of them, and this material is supposed to be 22 mil vs Kerdi band 4 mil. I didn’t realize this is supposed to be thicker. I am not sure if that’s a good thing and once, you install it that’s it. There is no way of knowing if it’s doing what it is supposed to unless you tear the shower down again. At least with this one you definitely get more for your buck. The Kerdi band is 5″ x 16 ft vs this 5″ x 50 ft. I will update my review once I install it.

Waterproof Underlayment Seem Tape
This has really come in handy for the projects I’ve been doing in my home this summer. In the bathroom with the new tile on the floor, as well as in the shower area. It works just as it says on the vendors page. I like that it is easy to apply, that it’s 120 feet, can easily be cut to suit th measurements I need. Plus at 5″ wide it is easy to work with and use several smaller pieces with slight overlap if necessary. I will be laying this down under the new area for our washer and dryer for added protection from moisture as well. A great product, easy to use and a good price.

Just like the big boys, only less expensive..!
No, it is not Schluter Kerdi membrane. And no, you don’t have to mortgage your house to buy a roll..!I am a contractor for decades, and have done my share of showers and wet bathrooms using many competing products including Schluter…I tested this to be completely waterproof, and functions just like all of them, would the only minor flaw being that some of the brand names give you a higher “fleece content” on the two sides, which might or might not give you better bonding overall…But since once it’s applied and then the tile laid over it, there’s really no place for it to go and the waterproofing factor of the inner material takes over doing its job.So let’s just say that no one but a finicky master-tiler would nitpick over the value of this product…
