Very sturdy projector hanger
This is a versatile projector ceiling hanger. You can mount it directly to the ceiling, or use the extension pole to hang it lower. I used the pole to clear a ceiling fan.The pole is adjustable from roughly 16 to 26 inches. It has a universal mount for the projector. It was very easy to install. The listing suggests running the wires through the inside of the mount pole. This would work for an HDMI or audio cable, but the power cord that my projector uses, which is a standard computer plug does not quite fit. That’s fine though because it can be tied to the mount. This is definitely a 5 star mount, and at a great price too.

Used to mount a projector on the ceiling and worked as expected. It seems very sturdy and does the job.

Weak and flimsy
Very thin aluminum, it could`t hold the weight of my projector when hanging from the ceiling, the height adjustment end up as a hard stop and I couldn`t raise to the height I want.Installation instruction is not cleared, screws marking are very confusing if you don`t have basic machinal knowledge.The worst part is the leveling, since the aluminum used in this product is so weak, it`s not holding the projector firmly, it could move or shake easily.My projector is on the heavy side, it`s about 18lb, but it still well within the 30lbs limits stated in the product description. Honestly I think this is design for those LED projector that less than 5lb weight. not for professional or home cinema application. which it make no sense at all.

Severe lack of stability/adjustability
First off, I had to cut the extensions, because I only need to drop down around 11”.Second, this thing lacks any swivel for left/right adjustments. It only has left/right and forward/backward tilts.Third, the extension arm only has one screw securing it, at the very top of the extension arm, which essentially acts as a fulcrum no matter how tight you make it. Any tiny bump, will swing the entire projector.Fourth, mounting this thing to your projector is a nightmare. It comes with 2 “reverse loading” shorted rings, that are installed backwards for shorter spaced holes, but only 2, which makes no sense. It’s also impossible to get it centered, so that the weight is equally distributed.I would’ve returned it if I didn’t have to cut it to make it work. Take my advice, and save your money, buy something better. This mount is terrible.

Very adjustable and great value
Great mount. Using it with a vankyo v620 projector. The Vankyo has poor keystone correction so being able to extend the mount is essential. It is also 3 axis adjustable to point exactly where you need. Attached it to a drywall ceiling by screwing a scrap 1 in board into a joist with 4x 2.5 in drywall screws then 1 inch screws to the mount. Seems very sturdy and no issues so far.
