Looks good, moves the air, easy to install
I like this fan so much that we just installed the second one. We have similar looking Minka-air’s in 3 rooms and this fan in 2. So far, I like it as much as my more expensive Minka-airs, but only time will tell if it lasts nearly as long as. Husband installed the first one without any cussing or swearing. The second one he installed in minutes. Most of the connections just plug together, except for the connection to the power. It really moves the air. So far I’ve only used it on the1 or 2 setting and that it is plenty for my small rooms. The light is nice and bright, which is great in my sewing room.(I actually bought this fan because the reviews said the light was bright. I am not disappointed). I like that you can reverse the fan direction with the remote. It is so quiet on 1 or 2 setting that I don’t hear it all. It’s not noisy on 6 but I can hear the air moving (and move it does). The remote also has a timer on it for 1, 2, or 4 hrs (and it works). I am very happy with this fan!UPDATE: STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE via email thru Amazon! Replied quickly (within 24 hrs) and they bent over backwards to help on an issue that was mine not the fan. I have 5 of these fans now and still love them. It stands to reason that with so many of these fans that I would lose a remote. I ripped the house apart looking and finally gave up and contacted Taloya. Unfortunately, they don’t sell replacement remotes, but they came up with an alternative that was beyond any reasonable expectation. And then I found the remote!!! Good customer service is very important to me and this company exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend this company and this product.

Easy install and it moves air quietly
Frankly one of the easiest fans I have ever installed. It is really lightweight, you do almost all of the assembly before mounting it, so the amount you work overhead is pretty limited. There is actually adequate room in the base of the fan for the remote control module for a change, most fans are so tight you can barely fit it in there.It is an inexpensive fan, don’t expect high end fit and finish. The blades are plastic but look pretty decent.The light is reasonably bright, the fan is super quiet, and it moves a fair amount of air.The long-term quality will remain to be seen, but overall I would buy another one for cost.

Decent Ceiling Fan
This fan is quiet, attractive, and moves air very well in the room. The design looks good, the fan itself feels solid, and it’s a nice size for a modest-sized family room. My husband easily installed it. The main drawbacks are that the light isn’t dimmable, and the fan doesn’t remember its previous speed or light setting when turned back on (it does remember the muting and warmth settings, though). It’s also worth noting that the remote sensor on the base of the fan is black, so if you have light colored ceilings, it will stand out (see picture #2). That said, the fan functions reliably, and the quality feels good for the price. Would recommend if you’re looking for a simple, functional fan.

This fan does a great job moving the air. We put it up in our bedroom. First off the installation was easy, and the wiring all straight forward. It took me about a half hour to pull the old ceiling light down and put this up. It did not need any additional attachments to get it mounted.We put this up mid May and have been using it everyday without any problems. It’s quiet and on the low setting does a great job. It’s got slow medium and high. Also the remote has a wind setting which makes the fan change speeds to simulate a light changing breeze.It does not come with a wall switch it only has the remote. But I’ve not found that to be a problem even though a wall switch might be nice.Some reviews talk about not quite liking the light. It is LED and has warm and white setting. It is a little strange that if it is wired to a wall light switch turning that on and off only turns the light on. And not the fan itself. It basically just kills the power to the fan but the light goes on and off. Then you have to adjust the light temperature with the remote. We did not buy the fan for use as a ceiling lamp. We have table lamps in our bedroom we prefer for lighting. I leave the wall switch on and just use the remote to operate the fan.Overall this fan gets the job done and does it very quietly so it works well for us.

Plastic blades. Can’t just use house switch, must always use remote(s). Inconvenient.
First off, the item description is a little misleading. The base unit is metal, but the blades are plastic. We are using this fan on our patio so the plastic blades are fine, but I don’t see anywhere in the description or specs where it says the blades are plastic.My next issue is that every time I turn the fans on from the house light switch, the light is bright white instead of warm white, like I had it when I turned them off. The fans also don’t just start spinning when you use the house switch, so you have to go find the silly remote controls, turn the light on and off 3 times on both remotes to get it back to warm white, then select a fan speed for each fan. I like the style and output of these fans, but the more I use them, the more annoyed I get at the amount of buttons I have to push every time.I might return these and get something that’s built a little more intelligently. I should be able to flip the house switch and the fans pick up where they left off, but they don’t.Ease of use? 2/10 because every time you turn your light switch back on you have to teach your newborn baby fan how to walk again.
