About the same as others (even the less expensive ones)
For some reason (maybe it is just me) – but I have a hard time using stud finders as they do not seem simple or intuitive to use and more often than not I think I have located the stud – only to find a gap in the wall where I thought there was a stud. I thought this one would be easier to use given the more advanced feature set (and the higher price), but I had the same experience with this one – I only accurately found the studs about 50% of the time. So – if you don’t struggle like I do in using these – this one may be fine, but for me it was no better or worse than the others I have used.

Inaccurate scanning
TERRIBLE SCANER. It doesn’t work properly. Tested on several walls trying to find studs, wires, pipes and nail and it gives you faulty scanning. My cheap scanner I have works 1000 times better than this piece of crp. NOT WORTH THE THE $80.oo+ plus dollars. It was FRUSTRATING trying to find the center of a stud and when it finds it its way off the center of anything behind the wall . DON’T BUY THIS THING. The product box in which this item came in look nice but the scanner itself looks very cheap. Cheap plastic.DON’T BUY THIS THING.

Easy to use, seems accurate so far, very handy!
As a newer homeowner, having a stud finder is an absolute must, and this stud finder is perfect for our needs. The instructions are easy to follow and understand, it seems accurate, and functions exactly as intended. The display is bright and easy to read (even for an older person like me with vision problems), and I really love that it detects multiple things (wood, metal, copper, etc.). Highly recommended and absolutely worth the price!

Does not perform Imperial measurements.
Does NOT have option to use imperial measurements. I know the other reviews mention you can, but the manual says NOTHING about it and when you actually attempt the half baked method other reviews mention, it does not work… Metric only. Its accurate so i gave it 2 starts. Also, you cannot turn down or off the beep that is very loud and chimes on every push of the button. I know a few of the reviews mention you can but you CANT… at least on the Aicevoos AS-MT8 model that I recieved. I am returning it to Amazon.

Me llegó hoy le probé y tiene muy buena pinta aunque no le probé en situación real de tener que taladrar pero las pruebas que hice si detecta bien cableado eléctrico vigas y tuberías
