This stud finder is so great and easy to use. It’s also very accurate which is a relief. It’s not loud and it’s worth the money. It looks amazing and it thick.

Great product, but I wish the instructions were better. I calibrated the machine and found studs, which is why I bought the thing. I couldn’t figure out how to test for A/C or what a red light means. At least my curtains are hung up now!

Do not buy this – I know it had tons of 5 star reviews but that was not my experience.The on / off button broke after 2 uses over the course of 6 weeks or so. Can’t return.Bummer.

Love/hate relationship
As a novice, this was very difficult to use. It was tough to calibrate every time. And it took a lot of passes to make sure I knew where my studs started and ended. I did like it because my previous stud finder (>20 years old) didn’t detect live wires. And this guy definitely stopped me from drilling wall anchors right into wires several times. So I will give it extra points for that.There were features that this stud finder didn’t have that I had grown accustomed to with my old one. You don’t realize how nice it is to have a built in laser and level until you don’t have one. So if this is something you want, maybe look for a different product.Overall, it worked okay-ish. And I don’t feel the need to purchase a new one. But if you’re a beginner or want more features, maybe keep shopping.
