Time will tell I guess
It seems like it works very well repelling water, hopefully it does so for awhile. But there’s nothing natural about the ‘natural’ color – its a hideous orangey-yellow that I’ve never seen in nature. I’ll wait a few months to see if it fades to something tolerable… I don’t the energy or inclination right now to start over again. Lesson learned – read reviews and test before going all in.

Excellent product
Used on our old weathered outdoor cedar on our patio wall. Product soaked into the wood so well and looks beautiful. We used the tinted product, and it even enhanced the different wood tones in the wood and made it all look new while providing a great weather proof seal.

Investment saver!!!!!
Just what we needed to seal in our outdoor play set. We invested in a huge play set for the kids and sadly it was not the quality you’d expect from a well known children’s company. After six months it was showing so much wear that I needed to try something to save it. This stuff seals out water and I don’t see any further fading of wood nor splits happening. I highly recommend this stuff. I will add that my husband was worried about the color I chose but it’s matched perfectly!

Easy to use -A great find
Works well. Just on three weeks so longevity not able to determine. However, it paints on easily, only problem being it needs two coats no more than an hour apart, so work fast. Now easy on a long stairway to the beach – no water or heat breaks for the applier. Water beads up – nice gloss – not too shiny, doesn’t darken nice wood very much either.

Get Samples First
As some have noted, the natural has a very yellow hue to it. I purchased various samples directly from Seal-Once and experimented on my deck. Clear was nice but not much to it, natural was too yellow, and cedar a bit orange. I started mixing the colors and found the ideal color. 15 parts Clear, 5 parts Natural, and 1 part Cedar. Super easy to mix and produced perfect results. Now as far as longevity … well, that’s another post.
