You will never go wrong using any Schluter product

It plastic inside and considered impervious. Important to know when using type of thinset.
– used this product for premounting mosaic glass tile to use as an accent strip in my tub / shower area.- With thin mosaic tile I needed a backer so thinset did not squeeze thru tiles.- Premount tile to backer. When cured, mount tile with backer to area needed.- worked perfect.- Will definitely use this again when tiling thin mosaic.

Make certain to use the Kerdie mortar only, the “All Set” works very well.
Works very well. Much better than than 5 inch wide as it gives you much better coverage.
