Easy install, looks beautiful
This is a lovely little niche, easy to install (measure twice, cut once!) and can either provide decorative space or storage space, your choice! It’s also easy to clean.I used this one in a little cubby area in a bedroom. It’s an odd little corner, an open space where they really should have continued the closet and let it extend all the way to the room’s outer wall. They didn’t though, and it’s served as an ugly little catch all in the corner of the room, where I’ve left a hamper, or stowed a vacuum. I decided to dress it up, make it pretty. I put a slim cabinet, maybe 4 feet tall in the space, and installed this niche slightly above it, maybe 14 inches. It looks stunning, and I now feel like a professional decorator, haha. My ability to decorate has always been a bit challenged so I do feel like a genius who will definitely be featured in decor magazines worldwide. It looks cute, it definitely improved an ugly corner, and it was easy peasy even for a not-so-handy person. The niche is good quality, well made, and worth the price for some extra real estate in the room. It works perfect. Highly recommend!

Nice niche!
I got the 12”x12” stainless steel shower niche in black without a light to go next to the toilet. Since I wasn’t planning on doing a complete remodel and didn’t want the hassle of dealing with wiring I chose the niche without a light. I have a small toilet closet so there isn’t a lot of space for tables or shelves but wanted a place to set my phone while I was in there. This niche is perfect. It was easy to install. I just needed to cut out a hole in the drywall big enough to slide the niche into and add a little framing to help support it. The niche is made out of thick gauge steel so it can be a little noisy if there isn’t any backing. I wrapped mine in sound deadening to help keep the noise to a minimum.

This shower niche arrived intact and in new condition inside a branded box. The instructions walk through 6-step to install it. They are written in an understandable way and use diagrams to illustrate. The item itself appears to be made of stainless steel with a brushed nickel finish.. It looks very nice and elegant. I am happy with it.

So I’ve had this for over a year I think now. Maybe not that long but it feels that way. I got it for an outdoor shower project but then winter hit and then it’s been raining every other day all spring and summer so I haven’t finished the tiling part of the project. But the amazing thing is this has been sitting outside this whole time. In the rain. On the ground. In the snow. In the ice. In New England. This whole time!!! And it doesn’t have any rust or any damage whatsoever. If that isn’t the biggest recommendation of a product then I don’t know what is. If you know, then you know.

Superior Quality
While looking for this shower niche I noticed that there are many listings for what appear to be the same niche but let me tell you they are not the same. This niche was slightly higher priced and it is absolutely worth it. This unit came packed very well but was also enclosed in its own cloth bag. This niche is very nice and solid, heavy and substantial. It is built extremely well and the finish is excellent, it is listed as black but it has more of a dark gunmetal finish to me and I think is is very attractive. I order another brand of niche that looked identical in the listings to this one but it was made of much thinner metal and had a somewhat rough flat finish that was no where as nice as this unit. I will be purchase this niche again for another bathroom remodel.I have not installed this niche yet but I have built several showers from scratch including the niches and I can already tell this is going to save a ton of time and look great. Delighted with my choice.

Just in time for my bathroom makeover1
I got this just in time, as my wife had me started on a bathroom remodel. Gone are the days of the small built shelves of the shower enclosure, or ugly shower organizers that hang around the showerhead. Not only is this a highly functional addition to the bathroom, but it was so easy to install. The directions are very straightforward and include illustrations, which I appreciate. Great Item and a VERY reasonable price.

No standing water
The shower niche is a nice size with plenty of space to hold what I need. It fits in between the wall studs making insulation much quicker. It is made of stainless steel and the finish looks really good. The water drains off the shelf well. Nice shelf.

The Nano Black 24″x12″ Shower Niche Insert (ASIN QYD907202B24) from QAOYEDE came complete with instructions.Insert appears to be well-made. No blemishes. Looks great. The box it arrived in identified it as black even though in the pictures (re: back seam) you can see it is stainless with a greyish finish. I’d describe this as more a gun grey/brushed titanium than black. That aside, no complaints.I hope you find this helpful to your decision making.
