This is a really great pot filler
I really like this pot filler! When I first opened the package, I was surprised to see a pair of white gloves – to keep fingerprints off during iinstallation. I was also surprised at how well it was packaged. See picture, every piece has a customized area in the foam. I was also very pleased with how easy and quiet all of the mechanisms are. The color and finish are also really good and appear to be of the type that will last a long time, possibly longer than the pot filler itself!During my typical initial inspection of the product, I found NO leftover manufacturing process substances such as oils, sharp edges or other defects. The description states this is a commercial rated unit, so along with the viewable construction, I believe I can safely state that this unit should last a very long time, commercial or residential. Finally, and this is also stated in the description. It should be noted that this filler is quite heavy so if you are installing this yourself, make sure there is a backer board to hold this and the plumbing in the wall especially if this is installed in sheetrock or other substrates that can’t hold much. I’m not quite ready to install this yet so I havent tried this where it is going to finally reside because the sheetrock & paint guys start next week. After that, the cabinets & countertops, then all the finish work – including installing this. Because of this, I did hook this up to water in the old house to make sure it doesn’t leak. I can happily state that everything is as tight as a drum with absolutely No leakage found.Were there any less than great things to be said about this product? Yes, but only one.This pot filler comes with a 1.8 gpm flow reducing screen. Yes, I know this is supposed to save water. Ummmm, let’s look at this. The description and the title Both call this a “Pot Filler”, I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that the stated purpose of this item is to “Fill Pots”! How in the world are you going to save water when you need to fill up a pot? Are the powers to be hoping that you will get bored or tired of waiting for the pot to fill up and use less water, which by doing so might ruin whatever you were planning on cooking? The way I look at it, the faster I can fill the pot, the faster I can get working on something else. I didn’t deduct any stars for this because it does say in the description that the low flow device is removable – and that was the first thing I did after I pulled it out of the box! Somehow that pesky reducer jumped right out of my hand and the last time I saw it, the reducer seemed to be doing backflips in the garbage can. I tried to rescue it, but alas, it was just to late. Lets all take a moment to reflect on this poor flow reducer. It had a very valiant job in its life and gave its all for the cause! Okay, times up! OzarkChris slowly crawls down from his soapbox and gently places it in it’s hiding spot so it can be summoned for the next time it is required!At this price point ($119), I believe this is a great deal. A quick search shows similar commercial rated items costing between $125 & $140.Would I order this again? Yes, I absolutely would!Hope this helps!

Perfect time saver, and easier on back
We are currently remodeling a home we purchased, so I am giving my wife the kitchen of her dreams. When she first showed me a pot filler I thought it was ridiculous but I am a believer now. First since I am a contractor and hold my admin. license in electric and plumbing I am doing all the work myself. It was easy to run a plumbing line to this pot filler. This thing is heavy but very elegant and stylish. I installed a heavy frame to attach the pot filler to. This is well made and constructed out of a heavy stainless steel coated with a shiny brushed nickle. This was easy to install once plumbing line and extra bracing present. Everything you need for the installation is included. The gloves are a nice touch but I have big hands and they definitely do not fit. So after installation I just wiped my fingerprints off with a microfiber towel. This is offered at a much better price than ones I have found at big box stores. I actually did not find any of these in stock locally. This reaches all the eyes on our cooktop. It will easily fill up any pot we are cooking with. The best part is that it also saves you having to move the pot twice. To fill up and dump out. After hurting her back and having several back surgeries we try to keep from having my wife carry heavy pots. I can say this helps a lot. I initially was skeptical of needing this but I have to say it is a nice touch to have in the kitchen. You will get lots of admiring stares when you explain what it is. It works wonderfully and upgrades the look of any kitchen. I definitely recommend that everyone should have this in their kitchen.
