Just what I needed
Loved that this ceiling fan could just plug into an outlet. I’ve got it hanging in the “unheated” side of my shop and it helps keep the windows from icing up in the winter (Alaska). No problems installing. Nice and quiet. Would buy another if needed.

This worked great in our gazebo. Its very stylish and love that it’s waterproof so we don’t have to worry about spray or residual moisture affecting the function. I was looking for something that would be simple to install and wiring together an external junction box to mount of a fan seemed like a whole thing. With this fan, all I needed to do was run it to the exterior GFCI and bam, installed. Then from there all the functions are run from the remote. The blades are a plastic that is textured to look like wood, pretty convincing and obviously it has to be plastic to weather exterior conditions. The adjustable mount was great for attaching this to an angled support joist while still letting the fan hang down over us.

This fan bridges the gap between temporary and permanent. It’s easy to install and mount the base and it plugs directly into an outlet making wiring a relative breeze. The reason I say “relative” is you you need to ensure you secure the power cable above and out of the way of the spinning fan blades. It would be disastrous if the cord got caught.The build quality is very good and the powder coating is flawless. There isn’t any odd tick or squeak when it’s in, so it is perfect in my books.I mounted mine on my balcony. It is sealed so I plan to run it seasonably and bring it inside in summer. So far it has been a big hit, but I only had a few weeks with it before summer ended.Assembly and installation is relatively simple for a moderately skilled DIYer.At $240 it is priced fairy for the functionality and quality. Cheaper exists, but that would require significant compromises.This has been a great addition to my patio and helped extend the useful time we can enjoy it.

**FIRST IMPRESSIONS:**So overall, this is pretty much a standard ceiling fan with the added benefit of it being designed to be installed outdoors. This means it has added features like weather resistance and a standard plug for installation.**INSTALLATION:**Speaking of installation, because this fan is designed to be installed outdoors, things are slightly different. Unlike a standard ceiling fan, there is a lot more variance in installing outside. However, the fan is designed to be installed inside or out, which means the installation procedure is pretty easy still. It includes most of the equipment you may need, and the best part is it has a wired plug. So you can easily just plug it into a socket instead of hardwiring it.**FEATURES:**Pretty standard again compared to most fans, it has multiple speeds with a reverse function. It also has a built-in LED that allows you to change the color warmth. The main features that set this aside are, once again, its design to handle weather. The good news is, though, that I didn’t notice any loss in quality for items that could be more weather-resistant. So it still looks like a house fan but can work outside.**USAGE:**This fan can be used as a ceiling fan indoors, but I really don’t understand the point of buying this fan for that reason. It’s best suited for outdoors or more exposed areas. This means it could work in a gazebo, porch, or patio. It would also work well in somewhere like a garage or workshop where there is likely to be more dust and moisture.**CONCLUSION:**So overall, I like this. It’s well designed, looks pretty decent, and can perform in areas where a standard ceiling fan couldn’t. The ability to just plug it into a wall socket makes installation much easier in some situations, and the remote and features give you plenty of options.So if you are looking for a ceiling fan for somewhere that may expose it to harsher weather, this is the one. If you are looking for a standard ceiling fan, this will do the job, but I don’t see the point in buying a fan that can withstand these elements and then not using it that way. You’re better off just buying a run-of-the-mill fan.

I ordered this light and fan combo to go under a gazebo we were going to build this summer but our project got delayed and we won’t get it up until next year now (once the warmer weather hits). As a result, I have been unable to test it out yet, but the quality looks great so far. All the components seem well made. Everything was packaged really well to protect from damage during shipping. The wood blades are a nice grey/ beige colour, and easy to clean. The fan comes with a remote control and features a light as well, so we can sit out on summer evenings. The installation looks straightforward and there is no need to wire anything, it comes with a long electrical cord to plug in. I am excited to set this fan up as soon as the gazebo is up. Based on what I can see so far, I would recommend this fan and light combo for under a porch, or gazebo.

This outdoor ceiling fan was really easy to assemble. If you’ve ever installed a standard ceiling fan, you’ll have no problems assembling this one. Even if you’re new to fan installation, the instructions are clear and beginner friendly.A great feature with this fan is that it plugs directly into a wall outlet so there is no need for hardwiring or hiring an electrician. The led light attaches to the fan via a small plug and stays in place with magnets. It’s a simple and straightforward design.The fan can be mounted in various ways and on different surfaces. It comes with anchors, a mounting bracket, and screws, but I didn’t need them. I initially thought I’d have to modify my gazebo, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the existing hook matched the bracket size perfectly. Installation was quick and easy.The included remote control was simple to set up and controls everything you need. Light, color temperature, brightness, fan speed, timer, more. You also have the option to use an app for the same functions.I had a bit more trouble setting up the app, but after a few tries I eventually figured it out.First I added and named the fan in the app. Next I unplugged the fan and waited a few seconds. Plugged it back in and while standing directly under the fan, quickly press the bluetooth button in the app. It connected instantly after that!This fan has made sitting in my gazebo so much more enjoyable during the summer. It looks fantastic and gives off a surprising amount of airflow for its size. I highly recommend!
