Product description Standard Shower Kits permit easy construction of shower floors with the proper minimum water drainage slope of 1/4 per 12″ run. These time saving kits permits construction of standard 36″ x 60″ shower areas with a centered drain. Custom shower kits and additional components are available to accommodate areas up to 144″ x 144″ with centered drain. Pre-Pitch Kit STD-201 Pre-PitchTM is a unique, stay-in-place spreading tool designed for use underneath shower pan liners. Pre-PitchTM is a unique tool that creates the proper sub floor slope needed underneath the pan liner to manipulate the water towards the weep holes that are integral part of shower floor drains. By having a pitch under the pan liner, water that passes through the mud bed is now directed to the weep holes instead of being trapped between the mud bed and the liner. This ‘ponding’ or collection of water is where many mold and mildew related issues originate. Easily cut with hacksaw, PVC cutters or grinder. Use on wood sub-flooring or concrete floors. Economical, lightweight non-rotting plastic. Kirb-Perfect KP-543 Kirb-Perfect is a stay-in plastic form designed to eliminate the possibility of any nails puncturing the liner on the top or inside walls of shower curbs. Kirb-Perfect is attached to the outside wall only, eliminating any water intrusion to the stacked 2×4’s that creates the curb. Top has built-in pitch into shower. Easy to use, great value
This kit was just what I needed and the price was right. I have never built a shower before but this made it easy. The only problem I encountered was I didn’t have enough sticks for pre pitch or slope. My shower is 3′ x 4′. I can’t wait to start start tiling.

I should have went with a schutler shower
This was my first shower pan. After tiling the shower I realized how little the schutler kits cost.I have high spots, following the guides seemed easier than it was. But this was my first mortar bed. I am satisfied that I used this, but looking back I would have went a different route.
