This thing has been a life saver on our home reno projects. We remodel campers and singlewide mobile homes and this has helped us with keeping everything level and plum. I don’t know how we got work done without a laser level on a tripod. Its easy to use, has a nice bright, highly visible green line, and works like a pro.

This tool just doesn’t work as it should. Theres a few things wrong with it.But there are a few good things. So here’s the list.The good(s):- very affordable for the laser level and tripod kit.- the tripod is high enough.- comes with battery and a case foe the device.The bad( there’s a lot):- the tripod is horrible. It just take so long to level and once you move anything, it shift and needs to be level again so you will need a manual level just for it.- it comes with a bubble level for the pitch but the device don’t sit right if you try to use the pitch. The tilt adjust won’t sit flush and level, it always has an angle.- this thing is so unstable, it always make noise at any movement and since the tripot is horrible, it will constantly make noise even it the bubble shows that it is level.- the “power button” don’t turn on ans off the the device as a normal person would think. It only adjust the brightness and “diagonal” hold. And this feature is terrible as well. You have to use the slide which has the lock and unlock symbol to turn it on and off. (Not a big issue, just unintuitive.- again, pressing the power adjust the brightness and the brightness is marginal, I have to stand really close to see the difference in brightness level. It is pretty much useless.- the power button, hold to use the diagonal. But you have to do it manually, I use it to stop the annoying beeping noise.The ugly:- it is impossible to level a horizontal and vertical line. It’s 1 or the other and it is hard to level it. (See photo)- the noise along is enough to make me go crazy as it is non-stop. You have to cheat it by holding down the “power” button.Overall, useless. This tool is horrible. If you’re looking for something that does some leveling for photos and small things. It can work but remember to hold the power button for the diagonal feature to stop the noise. It won’t work for anything that need better level. I have slight OCD, and even just a 5 degree offset drives me insane.Hope the reviews help! 2 stars for the few good points.Update: By the way, all those 5 stars vine reviews, shame on you, at least use the item before posting a review. The other 2 stars vine review is more on point of what this device is.

ok level, weak tripod
Ok laser level (couldn’t figure it out without the instructions, so don’t lose those) but absolutely the weakest tripod. It was nice to have a tripod included, but the quality is awful and it’s very flimsy.

It works…I think…?
We thought we would like this more than we did. It does a decent job for the price, don’t get me wrong. It’s just that, like others have mentioned, the features are a bit finicky and the tri-pod is a little janky. Will we continue to use it, yes. But we are not professionals, so it’s good enough for govt work! I highly recommend that if you’re a pro, you look for something sturdier.
