This is an amazing wrecking bar – I wish I would have found it sooner. Its solid steel that takes a beating. The indexing head is the game changer – from all the way closed you can twist 2×4’s into position, to all the open you can pry and lift, to anything in between you can reach and pull nails, separate walls, 2×4’s, anything. The longer length allows you to apply much more leverage saving your back. I bought it for a house remodel that required moving some walls and have found so much use for this tool. Yes it costs, but there isn’t anything exactly like it. It now goes with me for all jobs.

Amazing quality for $9
Most pry bars in the 7 to 8 inch range are terrible. Just flat steel with an edge ground into the last quarter inch or so to try to give something you can work under a nail head. Not the Hultafors! The grind starts more than an inch from the end and tapers smoothly to a thin but strong edge. Both ends are like this. And the nail pull 1.5 inches from the straight end has a tapered edge inside to catch under nail heads that you haven’t already lifted.This $9 pry bar puts to shame all the small pry bars for sale at Lowes or Home Depot, for sure.

This is very very small. I know it says 7.5 inches, but it did not register for me how tiny that really is!
