Closet shelves install
Only used this laser one time so far. For the price it exceeded my expectations, and time will tell how it holds up. I used it to hang wire shelves in a closet. I mounted it to the supplied base and clamped that on the door trim, eyeballed the base as far as it being level, turned on the unit and it self leveled and lines were easy to see. I doubled checked the lines several times as I rotated the laser it stayed dead on level and was a time saver. Now I just kick myself for not purchasing a laser level years ago, what a time saver.

Works very well. I did have an issue with the first one but hupar made it right incredibly fast. The live is a bit wider than I’d like and the port covers on the battery are to loose. Other than that its great

An honest description of this laser: I use it commercially for electrical work. The good thing is it’s cheaper than the big brands D**** and M****. I tested its accuracy at 30 feet against a D*** and it was only off by 1/16 of an inch—maybe it was my hand, or maybe it’s just as accurate. The battery lasts 8 hours with one line on. If you use it for a few hours, 2 or 3 at a time, it lasts 3 or 4 days. The price is good. Happy buying!

Not as useful as you would hope
The problem with this unit (and probably others of this ilk) is that you can’t level the two axes independently. If either is tilted more than 3 degrees, both blink. This is true even when only one line is showing. So let’s say you’re marking curtain rods mounts like I was yesterday. I need to make screw holes 8 feet off the ground. I don’t have an 8-foot tripod. I want to be able to tilt this upward with just the horizontal line on, but it never stops blinking in self-leveling mode because the tilt is more than 3 degrees on the vertical. You spend a lot of time just getting it aimed, to the point where it’s often more convenient just to grab a measuring tape, pencil, and level. And the case is crap, there are things on both sides that won’t stay in, so you have to be quick closing it or it all falls out.
