Great space saver, tricky to install
Definitely a space saver and a good way to keep your spices on hand. This rack was a little tricky to install–working under the cabinet is tight, and while measurements were provided, a paper template would have made the installation much quicker and easier. We opted to use a drill rather than the suggested screwdriver.Once installed, the rack is easy to release and lower. It is sturdy and stays supported while accessing your spices. It takes a few times to remember that you need to flip the locks back in place as gravity naturally pulls it back down, but once you get the hang of it, the rack works well.Overall, we are happy with how much space this saves and how easy it is to see all of these spices as opposed to stacking them behind one another in a cabinet. We actually found several duplicate spices and lots that we didn’t even know we had–most of which were well past expiration. Good concept and would of been great as an under cabinet spice rack if it had been made better,,Flimsy as heck!! Very thin board back that is warped so top wood rack piece doesn’t stay in groove.. wobbly and loose arms/sides, there is no tension to them which makes this under cabinet organizer a safety hazzard waiting to happen.. it locks up in place with two cheesy hooks on front end, you unlock them to drop rack down and with any weight in it, it will drop down forcefully and poof some of your bottles will fall out..you have to guide spice rack open and well when you are cooking and in a hurry that may be overlooked by many….either-way, lacks the tension to smoothly open and close that all these should have so this one is not worth getting even if you were to received a non-warped one..cheaply

Functional, lacking in everything else.
Is it functional? Yes. Is the quality good? No.I was really excited for this as I live in an apartment and do not have a lot of space in my kitchen. However, before I even had a chance to hang it I noticed all kinds of issues.The front panel is decent, as is the sides but the panel that holds the wood is actually cheap plywood that is warped. The sides do not stay flush and the moment it has weight, they are going to separate, which has a lot to do with where the connectors are placed on the sides. It already has some weight to it, adding more is going to cause the esthetic of the rack to be completely thrown off-this is with the locks on.Overall, it just isn’t what I expected or hoped for, it is functional but lacks quality and durability.

I need to dispel the misinformation of the low-rated review(s).My hinges were also wobbly. They come like that on purpose. It only requires a screwdriver to adjust the tightness to your liking(Please see my video). You can see I did it one-handed within a few seconds.I love this shelf! It is convenient and looks clean and neat. It is easy to install and it’s not expensive!It fits my spice jars so well and holds them at a convenient angle without worry that anything will fall off.I am a vertically challenged woman who now has her jars within reach without reaching on my tippy toes to retrieve my jars from inside the cupboard, nor, do I have to bend down to my bottom drawer anymore where I keep my spices.I have my most-used spices within reach. I’m so thankful that I ordered this. I was hesitant and uncertain but it didn’t cost much and it turned out great! Hope this makes someone feel better if on the fence about this spice rack. I find it very durable and sturdy and it lends a clean, put together look to my kitchen!! I’m going to use vinyl wallpaper for the backs to make it a little fun!

Great Space Saving Spice Rack, Easy Installation
This spice rack was easy to install and came with all the necessary hardware. It fits spice jars easily. The quality is good, and it feels sturdy. I think it’s a good value for the number of spice jars it holds and the space-saving under-counter mounting.

Great space saving spice rack.
This a super handy spice rack to save counter space. The wood & finish is thin but sturdy enough and the mechanism extends, retracts and lock perfectly. The wood isn’t the highest quality and it has a clear varnish but it doesn’t affect the functionality of it. For just under $33 I think it’s great space saving invention and a fair value IMO.
