Do not hesitate to get these hidden deck Fasteners!
Not all composite decking brands and decking are made the same. Make sure you have the decking that has the groove on each side as that is what these hidden deck fasteners are made for. They won’t work for the other styles of decking. So you have the decking with the groove on each side and now you want to install it. These fasteners appear to be made by the same tool and die systems that make the name brand hidden deck fasteners, but these are a much lower price point. This kit comes with everything you need. Step by step instructions with pictures are a huge help. An installation tool with an adjustable handle to help ensure you have everything lined up as well as making it much easier to install the tabs and screws. The durability of stainless steel screws that are pre-painted on the ends to help ensure they are hidden as much as possible when installed. The plastic clips themselves are also identical to name brands. It comes with the torx bit needed for the screws and half a dozen extra screws. Also, each plastic tab is preloaded with a screw, which will save a huge amount of installation time especially if you are doing a larger job. The whole kit comes complete in a plastic bin with locking lid tabs, that when you are finished, you will save this bin and use it for something else, it’s that nice. Overall I am very impressed with everything about this kit and I assure you, you will not be disappointed choosing this kit for your hidden deck fastener needs!

Outstanding set of fasteners, great value
ZONEGRACE 1000 PCS Hidden Deck Fasteners for Composite Decking Board,Composite Deck Clips & Plastic Hidden Fastners with Stainless Steel Screws & Installation Tools,Universal Nylon Clips for Decking: $199.99Picked these up to use in the spring/summer when we build our new deck (currently it’s winter and the ground is frozen), and I am more than happy. The system works as expected in my tests on composite boards. Can also be used on pressure treated if you route a groove of suitable size. My biggest concern in not recognizing this brand was whether the stainless steel screws were actually of high enough quality to resists rusting. To that end I left two test pieces outside in water. Over the course of a month they went through many freeze-thaws, rain, ice, and snow. When I removed them for this review, they were still as pristine as when I set them outside! See photo.Value wise these are fantastic compared well known brands. Can’t wait to get building!

Very good quality at a good price.
The quality of these clips is just as good as the name brand I have used in the past. I like the fact that they are stainless steel with black painted screws that hide them once installed. The plastic clips are durable and I had no trouble with them breaking when installing them. These are made for the composite decking with the grooves on the sides. The kit came with a torx bit for the screws as well as a tool to ease installation and help line up and sink them. For the price point these are a very good value. On top of that it came with a very nice tote to keep everything in. I am very satisfied with the quality and function of these.

Very thoughtful set
I tried to find out who Zonegrace is, because this is such a thoughtful package, right down to the storage box it comes in. First, it includes tools that aid in fastening along with the fasteners themselves, and that is just a huge value added function for this set. The screws are stainless with a painted black surface that makes them look invisible when they are sunk under the surface, which is just a really smart touch. Then each screw comes with a nylon clip that holds them in place while you set it, and fastens the next plank in place. So you can get twice the work out of each screw, rather than fixing each board to the frame individually from the top. Finally, the installer tool ensures that the fastener is in place while you sink the fastener, which it also holds steady.This is such a DIY friendly system! It’s really clever and useful, and cuts down the amount of effort needed to build a deck. Very cool!

Quality Fasteners, Good Value
The screws are stainless steel and can be used in pressure treated lumber. Much better than the more expensive aluminum screws that come in the name brand version at big box stores. The 1000pc tub is an excellent value for the money.These work perfectly with Trex Enhance, and should work well with any other grooved deck board. Installs easily right between boards while also acting as a spacer. The plastic clips seems to be just as durable as the name brand versions.Comes with a single T15 torx bit and a handful of spare screws. Make sure you have a few more bits if doing a large project.

Reviewing the Hidden Deck Fasteners.These are deck screws that are designed for use with Trex decking boards. Specifically, the boards that have a groove allowing the use of the screws with a plastic tab to hold the boards down and not be seen at the top of the deck board. Visually, nobody will see the deck screws that hold the boards together.This also allows for a bit of a floating system for expansion. This box has 150 pieces which is not a lot but enough for my small deck on the side of the outside spa tub. They’re stainless steel and should last for years outdoors.
