Great laser level for home projects
This laser level works very well for home projects.1. It has two modes: Unlocked mode and Locked mode2. Unlocked mode (Automatic Leveling Mode) uses the internal pendulum to keep the device plumb. This is the mode that is most often used. The laser crosshairs will be plumb with the vertical.3. Locked mode is when the internal pendulum is locked and not used. The laser crosshairs will be relative to the surface that the device is placed on, which might not be leveled.4. It uses 2 AA batteries and comes with a small User’s Manual that describes the basic features of the device.5. The green laser light is bright and highly visible.6. It can be mounted on a tripod to keep the device steady.

Never using a regular level again
This is a great value for the price. After only a month of use it seems fairly durable, has great battery life, and seems accurate. The laser is very bright and allows you to get the perfect alignment even in the daytime or outside. The self leveling feature is nice, however I wish the tripod was taller. Other than that, no complaints.

Not reliable
I had this device for just over 7 months. It worked great. Then it suddenly stopped working. At first I thought it was just the batteries. But even after I changed the batteries twice it still doesn’t work. Not sure what the issue is but to stop working after 7 months is not acceptable.Amended review. I have a seller telling me they will replace the faulty unit. They offered – I didn’t request a replacement. The seller didn’t mention any time limits that applied to their offer. However, Amazon customer service says that the window to replace/refund the purchase has elapsed and for ME to contact the manufacturer myself. Amazon and its sellers/manufacturing partners need to get on the same page and not lead customers on with a false narrative.

Ho approfittato di un buono sconto su Amazon ad un buon prezzo e l ho acquistata con l occasione di fare dei piccoli lavori edili a casa. Riporto le sue impressioni: buona qualità, il led verde si vede sempre bene, ha un campo di lavoro di oltre 5 metri, un pulsante di blocco della lente per lavorare con le varie inclinazioni, facile e intuitiva. Nella confezione ci sono le batterie e un astuccio ergonomico. Il prossimo acquisto sarà un cavalletto per posizionare la livella più in alto. Consigliato
