Beautiful pendant lights with excellent smart features
These pendant lights look great over a kitchen island and add both style and functionality. The three-layer lighting design provides excellent brightness for everyday use while also allowing for accent and RGB effects when you want something more atmospheric. Installation was straightforward, and the build quality feels solid and premium. Smart features work reliably, including Matter support and app control, making it easy to integrate them with the rest of a smart home. Color accuracy is excellent, transitions are smooth, and the lights respond quickly to commands. If you’re looking for modern, smart pendant lights that work just as well for task lighting as they do for ambiance, these are a great choice.

It looks absolutely amazing! But I had a little glitch.
First off the pictures submitted also show the Govee String Lights in the background.I have had 2 sets of them and am super happy with those. In General out of the 3 Govee purchases I have made – The products are well made – and reasonably priced. Unfortunately I had to contact customer support and they were right there to help when needed.The Pendant Ligjt—-So it’s very bright- the colors are really amazing-The physical appearance of the light itself is very pleasing- easy to put together- I am not a big fan of the changing color scenes – but there are plenty there if want them.My Glitch- but I don’t think it is the unit – -I hooked mine to a wall switch that was already there. Installed it tuned it on – perfect it worked etc, and looked great. Later that day I turned it on again and it flashed a few times and went out. I said oh boy and turned it off again and on again- was now working fine again- So once in awhile like 1 time out of 10 times it would do this. If it remains powered up all the time ZeroProblems.I looked on the internet to see if this was a problem for anyone one else – found nothing,So I went to Govee Support and they gave me some suggestions- one of which suggested that it might be on a dimmer switch which it was not – however I did meter the power to the unit and it was 120 volt ac exactly. and there was a previous fixture there prior to the Govee Light that worked correctly. Anyway back and forth with Govee and the sent me a new fixture to try. – I did not install it I powered up from a different power source (wall outlet) in the house and tested it on a table – same problem so maybe it’s my power/router not sure – so I offered to return the replacement and kept the old unit. I believe my problem is unique however I can not make an honest review without mentioning it. The problem is really not a big deal and as mentioned I think it might be something with my house.Despite all this I would not hesitate to buy a Govee Product again- actually when it is warmer I intend to install some of the permanent outdoor lights for the house.If you read all this hope this helps your decision to buy the unit.

Fancy looking kitchen light or dining room light
The light is amazing and looks expensive. It is dimmable through the app and it is adjustable in height. It looks like glass but it’s actually plastic so no need to worry about breaking. It changes all the colors and effects. I have mine on a switch and is easy to use. Bluetooth app is great.

Love this light. I do wish Govee products weren’t so expensive, but this pendant light above our dining room table has really added a special touch to our home.The lighting options seem endless, and it’s hard to decide what vibe we should set. I guess that’s a good problem to have in a sense.Installation is pretty straightforward if you know how to install these things into electrical boxes, but if not, it comes with a chord to plug it in. The instructions are easy to follow as well. Ours is in the ceiling, we replaced the existing dining room light we had, and I was impressed with what was given for this setup. I think this is the longest ground wire I’ve ever got, and I love me a long ground, easier to work with! Also came with the quick clips for the wire connections, but I’m not a huge fan of those so I opted to use some caps I already had at home. I wish they would provide both with this instead of JUST the quick clips.The quality of this light feels solid. It does get dusty like anything and when it does it’s pretty visible on the glass so we do have to wipe it down often.
