This fire pit from Fanhao is nice looking with its unique tapered shape. It comes with everything you need to build a fire and Quick! I was impressed how easy this is to start and get to full burning temperature. It is also small and light and easily stores in its included bag.As shown in the video the “secondary burn”, common to the effectiveness of a Smokeless pit, is working great. There was no smoke coming from this pit when it was up and running. You can see the obvious scratch marks on the paint. Yes it is painted and not ceramic coated for a durable color. My wife and I questioned how these scratches even happened. The height of the “burn chamber” is relatively short and I couldn’t fit any wood pieces longer than 6″. I did not try pellets, but I have seen other smokeless pit videos where they use those. Though the product description would lead you to think this pit can warm you – well consider this pit is SMALL. I would only consider using this for decoration. It would be awesome for some outside entertaining on the main table. This is not a negative on this product or manufacturer at all. Just realize what a stove this size can heat. I have 2 large smokeless pits and WITH A DEFLECTOR they can heat 4 – 6 people. Any smokeless pit without a heat deflector is significantly inefficient for heating people. I have another small tabletop firepit and this Fanhao pit is my favorite. It starts quickly, burns a relatively long time, produces no smoke and look stylish.

Useful for short fires or small spaces
I’ve been a fan of smokeless stoves for a few years now and have acquired several in various sizes. My choice of stove for a particular night depends on how long I want the fire to last and where I’m going to be using it. If I’m going to be in my backyard (large space) and want a long fire (3-4 hours), I’ll usually grab the 15” or 19” stove. If I’m going to be in my enclosed front patio (small space) or want a short fire (1-2 hours), I’ll grab one of the 7” or 8” stoves. This stove definitely fits into the smaller space/short fires category.For these small stoves, I usually prefer pellets because it’s hard (or expensive) to find pieces of wood that are small enough to use in them. I used about four cups of wood pellets in this stove and it burned for just a little over an hour. And when I say “burned” I mean it had a good visible flame for that long. I’m sure I could have extended that to two hours if I had been willing to keep feeding it pellets once it had burned down, but I was curious how long it would burn with no additional fuel.Until now, the smallest stove I had was the Solo Stove Mesa XL. The burn chamber on that stove is the same depth as on this one, but it’s about an inch wider, meaning it will accommodate a little more fuel than this one. There was more ash and more unburned pellets in this stove the next morning than I typically see in the Mesa XL. Also, I think the Solo stove produces a slightly better flame. However, at current pricing, this stove is only 57% of the cost of the Mesa XL, so you’re getting a similar product for significantly less cost.The stove itself seems to be well-made and it comes with a convenient storage bag. The edges on the bottom of the main body (the black part) are pretty sharp, so be careful when handling. The stove also has an interesting shape that sets it apart from the usual cylindrical design. In the end, it comes down to how and where you intend to use it and how much you want to spend. There are better stoves out there, but this one isn’t bad for the price.

This tabletop fire pit is a really nice little setup for outdoor hangouts. It’s compact but puts out a great flame, and the smokeless design actually works better than I expected.I like that it can be used with either wood or pellets and that it comes with a stand and carrying bag – makes it easy to move around or take camping. The stainless steel feels sturdy and well made, not flimsy.It’s perfect for patios, outdoor tables, or small gatherings when you want that cozy fire vibe without dealing with a big fire pit. Simple, efficient, and fun to use.

User Friendly Fire Pit
I wanted to put this item to the test, so I set it up in the dark my first time using it! The instructions were very straightforward, only remark is that there’s a rounded ring that I’m still not sure how to use. It fits in the top either way, convex or concave; I decided on convex to make it dome-like in use.The heat output was minimal, maybe 6″ from the fire pit itself. I set it up on a concrete pad and it left no scorch/soot marks. It is insufficient to keep people warm in 50°F wind-free weather, but it is too hot to directly touch the sides of while operating. Warming hands/feet within 6″ of the fire pit was optional. Myself and three others huddled around it to make s’mores. Embers were perfect for s’mores making.The fire pit itself is quite small. Its small size and very light weight (and convenient durable carrying drawstring bag), are definitely big selling points for this item. I think the 2-4 person capacity is appropriate, though its short height made it more of a feet warmer than a cozy fire pit. We all had to lean forward in our chairs to roast marshmallows or feel ambient warmth from the fire pit. The firewood kindling I picked up for it was too long; I recommend wood pellets instead. I just wanted to test the limits of this fire pit, so we ended up setting the kindling wood across the fire pit, then breaking it down once the center was burned through in order to then enjoy the fire pit without wood sticking out and over the sides.Smoke level was very minimal, and we all enjoyed watching the flames curl through the holes in the interior wall of the fire pit and make spiral flames in the main area of the fire pit.I would recommend this as a tabletop fire pit for 2-4 people in warm or cool weather

C’est mon premier brasero et j’en suis plutôt satisfait. Il fonctionne bien avec un petit sachet de pellets de bois que j’ai aussi commandé dans le cadre du programme Vine et j’envisage aussi d’utiliser du charbon de bois dedans pour voir, mais je n’ai pas essayé encore ni même avec d’autres type de bois ou matériaux.Le système de prise d’air est efficace : la flamme est belle avec très peu de fumée.

Trotz der kompakten Größe liefert sie eine erstaunlich kräftige, gleichmäßige Flamme, die schnell Hitze aufbaut und eine richtig gemütliche Stimmung erzeugt. Besonders gefällt mir, dass sie wirklich deutlich weniger Rauch produziert als klassische kleine Feuerkörbe. Man sitzt einfach entspannter daneben, ohne dass Augen tränen oder Kleidung sofort nach Rauch riecht.Die Verarbeitung wirkt sehr hochwertig. Der Edelstahl ist robust, sauber verschweißt und die schwarze Beschichtung sieht modern aus. Auch nach mehreren Einsätzen gibt es keinerlei Verfärbungen oder Spuren. Der abnehmbare Aschebehälter ist ein echtes Highlight – einfach kurz herausziehen, entleeren und fertig. Dadurch wird die Reinigung zu einem Zwei-Minuten-Job statt einer Sauerei.Was mir besonders gut gefallen hat: Man braucht wirklich nur wenig Brennstoff. Ein paar Pellets reichen schon aus, um ein schönes Feuer zu bekommen, das länger hält, als man es dieser Größe zutrauen würde. Auch die Tragetasche ist praktisch, vor allem wenn man die Feuerschale unterwegs dabei hat.Was verbessert werden könnte: Die Standfüße könnten minimal breiter sein, damit sie auf sehr unebenen Flächen noch stabiler steht. Auf normalen Untergründen funktioniert aber alles einwandfrei.Fazit: Eine kleine, stylische und überraschend leistungsstarke Feuerschale, die kaum Rauch produziert, super einfach zu reinigen ist und perfekt für Balkon, Garten oder Camping geeignet ist. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die eine tragbare Lösung suchen, die trotzdem richtig Atmosphäre schafft.

I must admit to being a little dubious about this but having tried it a few times I think it is a great piece of kit. First of all it looks good – very nice piece of design. I had no difficulty putting it together and getting the fire going.The heat output was greater than I expected and all in all it functioned really well.In terms of price at the time of this review this was on sale at just under £50 – which seems expensive but it is really solid and performs well. I expect it to last well too. All of that makes it good value.
