Done right, with style
This is is a quality tool.It’s made of quality steel and well engineered with a cord shape to stiffen the spine. It’s very strong for its weight.Is it completely indestructible, like Wonder Woman’s bracelets? Can it be broken? It’s well designed, solid steel, but some fool could probably manage to break it, I’m sure.They’ve given it a nice enamel paint job with what looks like flaked painter’s aluminum in it, to add some style. If you’re going to cruise the strip for chicks with just one flat bar for bling, this is the flat bar to get.Estwing is an American company (Hoo-rah) and this tool was manufactured in Taiwan; it even says so all big and proud, stamped right on the tool. Main point: IT WAS NOT MADE IN COMMUNIST CHINA.This tool is a good value, it does the intended job perfectly and it will almost certainly outlast you. Not bad for the price.Power to real Americans, the free people of Taiwan and free people everywhere.

Speedy carpet tack strip removal- and little effort needed
This device is excellent for removing carpet tack strips. Striking with a hammer makes it quick and easy. When the nail gets stuck the curved edge rocks easily and removes the nail

Not made in USA!!
I have always bought Estwing because, first of all they make a darn good product and they are made (were) in the USA. They still make a couple of the items in the US but a lot of their production is being sent over to Taiwan. It is stil a great product and would have given it a 5 if it was still made in the US like they still want people to belive.

Buena palanca peroooooo………… estaba indeciso entre esta y la Stanley .Esta era unos euros más cara pero la marca dice en sus productos son hechos en América y me decidí por este producto , cuando me llego (súper bien empaquetado) nada más abrirlo me aparece en letras color oro hecha en Taiwán y una pegatina en la parte trasera que pone estwing.En definitiva Stanley chino estwing taiwanés.
