GREAT! Wonderful light! Dims, and price is outstanding
What I wanted was a Bright Stick. Recall the flourescent bulb/sticks would just attach to wall with adhesive? This was primarily to through MORE light under my face to better trim my beard.The first photo is *lowest light*, during the day, lights off in bathroom. Nice night light. Has motion sensor which flips lights on when you walk into room, move about. You can’t see the individual LEDs as you can in person, but the gebneral brightness is what I wanted to give a feel for.Second photo is brightest setting, and this gets BRIGHJT! It’s almost TOO bright, but excellent to throw the illuminatioin UP and on my neck to fiddle with beard.Best use would be mounted UNDER a ledge (kitchen, office, etc), where light is directled DOWN, and glare of LEDs is out of yuopur eyes. Overall excellent tool. I can imagine a doxen applications I plan.Has DIMMER controlmotion on/off IR sensor (wave of the hand, literally)seriously inexpensive and made very well.Attaches with supplied screws/clips, or equal length strip of 3M double adhesive tape!Fool-proof install.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Hope photos give SOME sense of “brightness”.

This is our third set of under cabinet lights in our kitchen. We had halogen (charred cabinets, melting plastic – you get the idea), and dim, battery-eating puck lights. So, we tried these EShine dimmable warm white lights. We bought a set of three 12″ units, and separate single 20″ and 12″ units to cover all the under-cabinets. First, they are very low profile, so no worries about them showing or shining in my eyes. Next, installation was super easy: they come with excellent 3M tape that works great, just peel and stick. The hand wave activates at close range, so I went ahead and installed them close to the front. The wire clips are very easy to use, although it would be good if the 3-pack had 3 clips per unit as the single packs have. I didn’t need three for the single installations, since I wasn’t having the wire jump between cabinet frames, so I used those extras for the three-pack installation. I used some velcro I have to wrap up the wire slack neatly; a twist tie would probably work, too. What I love: The hand wave! No more searching for a switch with yucky hands! The light is bright enough for my tired eyes, and the dimmer is great as well for maintaining low level lighting in the kitchen (needed for those snack grabs). I also love the fact that the light is spread out; the halogens I had glared so much on my granite counter-tops, it was counter-productive since it blinded me if I didn’t put a dish-towel over the glare.Anyhow, it’s been a week, and so far so good. If they break down, I’ll come back and let y’all know, so check the date on this review to see how long they have lasted. Right now, I highly recommend these lights.Update: It is now September 2020, and we are moving; leaving the lights. The lights still work perfectly; never a problem. Good purchase.

Excellent light
This is a well designed light that works perfectly as an under cabinet light. I actually use mine to light the shelves in a display case. The light is smaller than I expected even though they gave me the measurements. It doesn’t get in the way and weighs almost nothing. I installed it on glass display shelves so I used the tape to hold it. It’s only been a week or so, but it seems solid so far. The dimming feature actually works. You just wave your hand near it so you don’t even have to touch it. The cool white is very white, but not bright enough to make any glare. It won’t work in an area you want to be brightly lit. It makes an even soft light over the length of the fixture. It will make useful light over a counter or workbench within about 3 feet and it doesn’t flood the whole room. My display case is below my flat screen tv and the case is nicely lit, but not so bright that it distracts from the tv picture. I’ll buy another one. The biggest decision is whether to get the cool white or the warm white. The warm white is yellower than I like and the cool white is whiter than I like. I’d give the warm white the edge unless true color rendering is important for your application.

Quality product
OK … this product is well designed and built. It’s sleek, compact, lightweight, good looking, and works just fine. I only have a few issues and if your situation is similar, then the rest of this review may be of value. My apartment had no light over the kitchen sink so that’s why I bought this EShine product. Installation is not too bad but if you’ll be dealing with small, self-tapping screws that require a #1 Phillips screwdriver — it’s a bit tedious so be prepared. I did not try the self-adhesive strip so I can’t offer any insight there. The IR sensor that controls the on/off and dimming functions is a nice touch but it may take some getting used to. Also, if the light bar is installed over the sink, the IR sensor will trigger on actions that produce steam (like straining pasta) — if so, the light will turn on/off, dim/brighten so be prepared. There is no power switch so if this inadvertent triggering becomes a problem, you’ll need to unplug the unit until the steam dissipates. This “avoid steam” issue is mentioned in the product manual. It would be nice if there was an on/off switch in addition to the IR sensor but it’s not a big deal. Overall, this is a very good product and I can recommend it.

I needed some extra lighting at my desk and wanted a strip light that would fit in the open part of the hutch area.I didn’t even think about motion activation and then I saw this one. Not only does it have a great lighting effect, it is really fun to turn on and off (see the video)! I also really appreciate how easy it is to dim and brighten this, and it really does have great range.It was super easy to install, worked exactly as it said it would, and I can’t see what issues I will have with this.Make sure that you install it in a way that you won’t accidentally turn it on and off. Depending where you put your hands. At the height that I’ve put it, it doesn’t look like I’ll accidentally set it off.If you want, you can even chain this to other lights which makes it very flexible depending on your needs.Color is slightly yellowish so remember that because you can’t change that, just the brightness level. I like this kind of color but some people like it more white or blue.The only small issue I have is perhaps that you have to put the plug only on one side of the light for the infrared hand motion to be able to work. If you put it on the other side, the light still works, but not motion activated. That’s a small thing because normally once you’ve installed it you should know which side the plug should go on, but then it means in the future if you want to change which side you put the plug in, you’ll have to reinstall it.However, that really doesn’t impact my rating, just giving a heads up.

Just installed and absolutely love this product. We bought warm white 20″ for a double kitchen cabinet. Plenty of light and exactly what we were looking for. New buyers can certainly trust all the positive reviews. Motion activation is so convenient especially when you may have sticky fingers. Yes the dimmer is a little tricky to learn but does work just fine. The user needs to do a little practice to catch on how it works. We see very little use for it as we bought for the bright light addition and will be off most of time when not needed for light.Only disappointment is the inability to be able to use the plug in on either end preventing us from using plug closest to plug in.

I live on the north side of a apartment block and needed extra lighting, seen these and ordered them. What a huge difference they made, no more darkness! The dimming censer works great, with dirty hands, its so easy to turn them on and not get food all over, plus set the lighting where I want by just holding my hand under the censer and it remembers it for the next time. It took me twice as long to attach them to the cabinets, I installed them backwards but were easy to slide a knife between the cabinet and tape and switched them around. Instructions should have been clearer, but all ended well lol.

I needed a light to mount under an overhead shelf above my work bench. I wanted something light that I could mount without screws and still bright enough to illuminate my work bench. This light fit the bill perfectly! The unit is so light that the 3M tape holds it no problem. The motion sensor works well too, I just wave my hand over the sensor and the light comes on. No fumbling with an awkward switch or button with dirty hands.
