These days, many of our cabinet clients ask for undercounter lighting, and quite a few want their toekicks illuminated too. At the Patrick Workshop, we’re always looking at what LED manufacturers are doing to improve cost and experience so we can pass those benefits along to our customers.We didn’t have an active project calling for illumination specs at the moment, so we installed this EMITEVER COB LED lighting kit under one of our shop shelves to give it a fair shake. From an installer’s perspective, it doesn’t get any easier. The tape-backed strips adhere cleanly, and our signature forward placement under a small lip (to hide the source and cut glare) worked beautifully.We applied the strip vertically behind that lip, which is our preferred method for creating a continuous light wash across a backsplash or cabinet face. The COB density and integrated diffuser really do make a visible difference – no hot spots, no “dotting,” just smooth, warm light.If you look at the photo included in this review, you’ll see the clear difference in brightness compared to another product installed in the same shelving unit. Both claim identical watts per linear foot, yet this EMITEVER kit outshines the other by a wide margin. Excellent Lighting Solution for My Kitchen
I picked up the EMITEVER Under Cabinet Lighting Kit to brighten up my kitchen workspace, and it’s made such a difference. The installation was straightforward; each of the six COB LED strips was easy to mount under the cabinets, giving a clean and modern look. I particularly appreciated that everything needed came in the box, including a user-friendly remote and adapter.The quality of light these strips provide is impressive.
