ELEGRP USB Wall Outlet Receptacle worked great!
These USB wall receptacles worked perfectly for my RV! I was annoyed with the lack of USB ports in my rather expensive RV. I looked in to a number of ways to add more, but most would require that I tap into the 12V system, which was a pain to get too. This option allowed me to replace existing 120V AC outlets with these outlets and offered me two USB outlets as well as keeping the original 120V outlets. Now the draw back with this is that they only work when plugged into AC shore power, but I had enough USB ports already factory wired to handle any boondocking I was doing. They were fairly simple to put in with regular hand tools. Carful we are dealing with 120V AC. I replaced six outlets and just love them!

Great value and quality outlets. I’ve bought 14+
I’ve got about 14 or so of these in my house now because they looked significantly better than the yellowed prior outlets we had and give the convenience to fast charge all of the USB devices we have. No more wall blocks needed for charging which is a plus. Install is super simple, strip the wires needed and just insert into the back then screw on tightly.*** I did run into an issue where our house had 3 neutral or 3 hot wires at a time. I combated this by stripping two wires more than the third, and looping one around the top of the other, then inserting the leftover inch of exposed wire into the outlet rear along with the leftover wire in the second slot provided and screwing on tightly. Electrical tape all around to protect it from hitting the ground and they all work fine. I feel like I’ve done some home improvement/value raising without a maintenance guy and that’s nice. Lol.

Very functional, but only use on 20 AMP circuit breakers. Had to move two of them once I realized I had them on 15 AMP circuit breakers.

Works great not so easy to install..
So I bought these to bring my home into the 21 century. With my whole family using technology, these outlets make it very easy to keep our gadgets charged, and once installed they work great. A word of caution, these outlets are much deeper than a standard plug, they take up more room inside the outlet box, and that can make them difficult to install if you have an older home. Also, if you have an older home with metal outlet boxes, not plastic like newer construction homes, it’s too easy for the sides of these outlets to touch the metal boxes and short out your new outlet or trip a breaker. These are not hard to install if you have the correct tools and knowledge. They even charge my new very power/finicky Samsung tab a without issues.

Great for USB needs
These outlets are great for USB needs such as plugging in neon products or other USB items. Have them in and around the bar area and rec room in the basement. They do a nice job in regards to charging and easy to install.
