Great set of lights, they look awesome!
This was my first time installing wired lights. After years of using solar lights I got tired of them losing charge as summer days get shorter and decided to go in on wired.I watched YouTube videos on installation tips and it made the install easy. I did remove the quick connect and went with a gel filled capsule with wire connectors so the connections were long term waterproof and the lights look awesome.

Good lights. Temperamental connections
The lights look and work greatThe only issue was connecting to the supply line. Very temperamental. On one of the lights I had to cut the wires and splice into the old connection

Planned Obsolescence – Lightbulbs are not replaceable
I think these look pretty great in my yard but I was very disappointed to discover the bulbs are not replaceable. Living in Michigan, there’s no doubt the harsh winters will decrease the lifespan of these units and then I will have to replace the entire unit–and maybe by the time this happens, I won’t even be able to find these for sale. To my knowledge, you can’t buy them individually either so I’ll have to purchase another set. I am NOT happy about this. I’m tired of “Planned Obsolescence”. When a non-replaceable LED fails, the entire fixture becomes e-waste. This feels like a deliberate design choice to force full replacement rather than simple bulb changes. This has a net negative environmental impact because these kinds of things are a huge contributor to landfills. Instead of a small, easily recyclable bulb, an entire fixture made of metal, plastic, and electronic components is discarded. This is counter to the “green” image often associated with LEDs.This also creates a greater cost over the lifetime: while the LEDs themselves might be cheap to manufacture, forcing a full fixture replacement means a higher long-term cost to the consumer, especially if premature failures occur. Finally, the listing for this product lacks transparency; this critical information isn’t upfront in the product listing and I had to email the company to get a conclusive answer on whether or not the bulbs are replaceable. The instructions do not even specify what to do if the bulb fails. As for the product itself, please do not use a mallet to pound the fixture into the ground; as it turns out, you’re supposed to use your foot to push it down where there’s sort of a “handle”. One of mine broke using a rubber mallet. Additionally, the instructions say to use electrical tape around the connections but my research indicates this is not a recommended practice. And if you’re not paying attention, the spotlights are black, not oil rubbed bronze. I don’t really understand why they don’t make sure they match the bronze units in this set.I’d probably give these a 4 star review if the bulbs were replaceable.
