A High-Quality Tape Measure With Convenient, Reliable Features
The Acpotel tape measure has several impressive features, but I purchased it specifically for its center-finding and inside/outside mode functions. As a woodworking hobbyist, I genuinely appreciate these features, especially when crafting and installing cabinet drawers. They help eliminate guesswork when identifying the center points of boards or verifying the accuracy of drawer openings on cabinet face frames.Overall, I am pleased with the quality and performance of the Acpotel tape measure. It is reliable and has a high degree of accuracy. Compared to similar digital tape measures available online and in big-box stores, this one offers excellent value for the price. First of all I really like this tape measure. Not my place to second guess my brothers, but some of the reviews might have been a little skewed by user error. Yes, it does cm. If you are off by a couple of inches you probably have the reference switched to the back of the tape measure 🙂 The “couple of inches” is the distance from the front to the back. Read the tiny manual sheet that came with it please. I am a just grab it up and go guy, and I went back and read the manual (it’s just a small sheet). Only accurate to a sixteenth of an inch. Never checked that. I’m old AF and can’t see the 32nds clicks anyway :). A sixteenth is good for government work and rough carpentry. That’s maybe about the width of a normal saw kerf??? I really like the midpoint thing, sometimes my head does not want to compute half of sixteen inches and 9/16ths. I’m old. What I don’t like about it is … it’s heavy for the short distance you get and the cotton picking battery rattles in it. Don’t know how long the battery lasts, but who is going on a job without a real tape measure in the tool box anyway. After a few beers its going to be more accurately reliable that most of us. Not that I have ever had a few beers on a job. Nope, never. Not me. I’m retired, so can’t really put it through its paces on the job, but I like it and can recommend you blow a few bucks to show your co workers what a geek you are.

Cool, but not without its quirks
Solid 5 stars, though shipping was a bit of an adventure. It took so long to arrive that Amazon actually canceled the order, and then it showed up out of nowhere anyway.As for the product itself, it’s genuinely very cool. You can switch between multiple units of measurement, and the area/volume calculations are a nice bonus (even if I probably won’t use those features very often).A couple things to be aware of: you’ll almost certainly hit the reset button by accident until you get used to the layout. Also, the digital readout measures only to the body of the tape, so unless the housing itself lines up exactly with your measuring point, you’ll still find yourself using it like a traditional tape measure much of the time.That said, the ability to set it to measure from the outside of the body is a great touch. It makes tasks like measuring the inside width of windows or door frames especially easy and accurate.

My wife bought this tape measure for me as I build a lot of wood projects. I should have purchased this myself years ago. It is great for both inside and outside measuring and is extremely accurate. I would recommend this Digital Tape Measure to everyone. Quality, durable, accurate tape measure.

Nicht gerade Billig aber sehr einfach zu verwenden. Es ist etwas schwerer als die Analogen Maßbänder. Das LCD-Display ist sehr klar, sodass man den Messwert sofort ablesen kann. Die über USB wiederaufladbare Funktion ist ein entscheidender Faktor, da man nicht ständig Batterien kaufen muss.Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

I like this tape measure. It is precise and not sofisticated. Is just a tape measure that light up and shows the measurement. Very helpful in a dim light environment.

C’est pratique, je l’utilise le plus pour la scieUn guide de l’utilisateur serait un plusJ’avais lu dans les com que le déroulement du mètre ne donne parfois aucune mesure.En fait, il faut pousser sur le triangle pour allumer l’appareil, puis une autre fois pour mesurer.La mesure se fait lorsque le mètre à l’écran clignote (flèche rouge)Le bouton en dessous pour le chgt d’unité sert à changer du métrique à l’impérial si l’on tient le bouton un petit bout de temps, si on le pousse rapidement, la mesure se fait avec la base du ruban qui est de 8,2 cm (2ème photo).Les boutons à gauche servent à voir les mesures effectuées précédemment .Il y a peut-être d’autres choses à découvrir…C’est un excellent appareil pour les boomers comme moi qui n’ont plus le regard perçant 🤓
