Works as intended !!
First time rebuilding a deck using 20 ft 5/4 pt decking boards. . . this deck tool was easy to use and did a great job in allowing straightening of boards as needed . . . made of heavy duty material . . .project came out better than expected with the help of this tool . . .

Can’t beat the price
Bailed me out doing PT deck boards, cheap enough to not worry about beating the bag out of it and not returning it. Replaced the cotter pin with some safety wire.

Must-Have Tool for First-Time Deck Builders – High Quality and Worth the Price
As a first-time deck builder, I’d heard great things about this tool—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The price was very reasonable for the quality. I had several warped and twisted boards, and this tool made it much easier to straighten and hold them in place while fastening. It saved me time and frustration, and the build quality feels solid and durable. Highly recommend for anyone tackling a deck project!

Not the easiest to use but it works
The quality and construction of these seems to be fine. Materials are reasonable thick, paint is nice, seems like you could do many decks with this tool. My only complaint is with the design. The pins that go over the joist only have two positions, one for a single and one for a double joist. The single position is very tight on the joist and the tiny thickness added by joist tape meant I had to push it onto many of the joists. The double position is too wide for a single, it will not grab at all. Also moving the pin requires a screwdriver and moving a set screw, not something you are going to want to do often. For the price I put up with these for my one project.Final complain, it is possible to knock the cotter pins out when positioning and using the tool, which will have you trying to find it under the deck. And no good reason for these to be removable in the first place.

Worked great for warped boards. If they were really bad it couldn’t quite suck them in 100% but really close.
