Tiny Beast of a Saw—Built Like a Tank, Cuts Like a Surgeon
The Craftsman V20 4-1/2” Cordless Circular Saw might be small, but don’t let its size fool you—it’s basically a caffeinated beaver with a power supply. I bought it to replace my DeWalt, and now the DeWalt just sits in the corner wondering what it did wrong.This thing has power. It chews through wood, vinyl, metal (with the proper blade), even the mystery material behind my old baseboards, without hesitation. It’s lightweight, so you won’t feel like you just arm-wrestled a grizzly after a few cuts, and the 4Ah battery lasts long enough for me to start a project, get distracted, and then come back hours later and finish it—still on the same charge.And yes, I’ve dropped it off the workbench more than once. Still works. So far so good.
So far so good. The saw is great to use for quick rough cuts. I wanted the dewalt version but this one was on sale and i own a few craftsman batteries so i didnt has much to lose. I am very satisfied with this because it is quicker than using my 7 1/4 saw. The adjustable guide also help keep the cuts straight. I completed one project with the help of this tool. I will update this review if it fails.

The tool is the same as the dewalt version.
Same tool as dewalts . The only difference is the safety saw gaurd is on the other side. Had a dewalt version everything is the same except battery. But I bought it anyway cause the price at the time was cheaper.
