The Bosch GLL50-20G Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser projects two level and plumb green beams that are up to 4X brighter than standard red beams. Featuring a 65 feet range that allows for leveling within a 1/4 inch accuracy at 30 feet, it’s a must-have for any tool bag. With its power flexibility, operate using the included AA batteries or purchase the Bosch 3.7V Lithium-Ion 1.0 Ah Battery (sold separately) that can even be used while charging to diminish downtime. Built-in VisiMax™ Technology optimizes line visibility and runtime for working conditions to further maximize usage. Its ergonomic, compact, lightweight design and IP55 dust- and water-resistant rating, provide for both comfortable and dependable operation. This is my first Laser level what a game changer for all building work and DIY. Works extremely well and can be set at different heights due to magnetic connections. Very accurate and easy to use. For the price I would recommend.

Works great but sometimes difficult to set exactly where you need it
It works as designed, the tolerance of the internal level system is a little fickle. For best results, I used a screw in the wall to set it up, tripod or setting it on a step ladder also works, but keep it out of the way from being bumped. Side to side adjustments are easy due to the design, but up and down adjustments can be challenging. I had to use a shim on the wall behind the screw to get things perfect.

Great tool for doing the job right the first time.
An excellent level to have around. Sometimes you just don’t have enough hands to hold everything and having a level line is great. Just installed wire hider runners and was easy to make it all level. You really need the tripod to make this product effective.

Super nice for setting up picture frames
Works really well for hanging picture frames. I would definitely recommend the green laser over red because it goes much further.Outside on a sunny day it’s pretty hard to see but if it’s overcast, you can see a faint green line about 30 to 50 feet away

Educate Yourself Before Buying
When I got my self-leveling laser, I put it to immediate use. It has worked flawlessly. The only suggestion I have is to add a bubble level on top and provide a user manual.Despite some negative reviews, I went ahead and bought my laser knowing that it will have some limitations. Most people are conditioned by the media to think that you can use a laser for long distances. This is correct and not correct. Just like cars, where some are built for competition and others for commercial or private use, lasers also have different capabilities when it comes to their use. ALL lasers have a specific “power”level and distance capability. Before buying any laser device, customers need to educate themselves in how to use lasers and take advantage of their capabilities.If you know how, you can use a pointer laser (those used in the classroom or during presentations) to mark the boundary line of your property (in my case 430 ft) during daylight. The lesson of this review is — educate yourself on the use and capabilities of lasers before buying one.

High Recommend This Laser Level
This Bosch laser level is awesome, it made my projects a breeze.For those complaining about the light blinking it’s normal for a Bosch laser level to flicker or blink as a built-in safety feature, indicating it’s outside its self-leveling range (usually 3-4 degrees) or has been manually locked, but it can also signal low batteries or instability; the flickering means the line isn’t accurate and needs repositioning or fresh batteries.I would recommend getting the Bosch laser level tripod as well or something similar that has vertical adjustment crank.
