This USB outlet seems to work as described. I replaced an unused outlet which previously had a combo 120V/USB receptacle that had failed.

Only for large outlet boxes
Easy to install BUT it takes up a lot of space and will not fit in homes with older electrical boxes (i.e. the old metal ones). The unit does get warm and it takes up more space than a GFCI outlet. Otherwise it does seem to be well made and is UL listed. I did not stress test this with loads on all ports at once but it functioned fine individually.

Lose the warts!
I got this to replace the outlet on the counter where I charge my tech. It eliminates the wall warts and makes the counter look less congested. I was surprised it came with a screw on cover. Most things now come with the hidden screw type. All in all a great change for the price.
